I've got lots of ketchupping to do, but it's not looking good for the slowness.

Nephew had fajitas with us tonight. Ted was the chef. I showed nephew the photo project I put into PowerPoint...everyone, well those more mature adults--not my DSs,that have seen it so far have had happy tears. It was fun doing. Now my next thing it to see if there is a photo program that could accomplish what I want to do in Power Point so I don't have to require that to be able to view it.At least we know what we want on the slides/photos.

Tara, our place is one where you come in and prepare, but we do offer the 'we'll make it for you option', as well as delivery for those close to the store I had a bunch of teachers as a private party the other night, two who admitted that they don't cook.

WE HAVE RAIN!!!!! I think this is the first substantial rain since February. Of course, I have a cooler that I need to wrangle today, so the timing could be better, but I'll take it.

My cousin was due to deliver a cute boy at the end of the month. Yesterday she went in to her OB/GYN and they didn't like the heart rate of the baby. She's also diabetic and so this has been a carefully watched pregnancy anyway. But she is going in today to be induced. Please think good thoughts or say a prayer for Jenny, Sam and their baby "Elroy" (long story on that one, but that won't be his real name )

The boards are slower than ever for me I was hoping they had improved while I was gone, but they are worse. Took me 30 minutes to open, read and answer 3 PMs

no word on my cousin yet. I know that inducing this early can take a while. I also am down on the chain of being informed. My dad will be called or e-mailed and then we'll hear from him. That way the mom & dad don't have to worry and neither do the grandparents. So hopefully by morning we'll have a new one in our family

Gee, where is everybody? Just because I could do a load of wash in the time it takes to open the darn DIS and get to this thread........

Had a BLAST this morning, making all my dinners at Suzanne's company!! (No, I didn't go to Florida, they have a location here!!) I got 8 entrees and it will be enough to feed us for 2 weeks!! And the recipes all look and sound positively yummy!! I think my favorite is going to be the Herb Chicken Pastries, although the Asian Pork Tenderloin has a fabulous marinade that I'm really looking forward to tasting, too. Thanks, Suzanne!! It was so much fun and sooooo easy!

Going to see the doc tomorrow for my pre-op. Gotta get some questions answered and some of my worries eased (I hope!). It's just arthroscopic knee surgery and I'm supposed to be able to go home the same day cuz it's not that big a deal, but I'm still nervous. May 25th is the big day, so I still have 2 weeks to stew about it.

Tara, I'm so very glad to hear the school finally capitulated and qualified Jar for speech! Sometimes, ya just hafto be that squeeky wheel! How's Ethan doing today? I hope he's feeling better and doesn't pass whatever it is around the family.

Sherry, I've been looking for a decent pair of black capris since last summer! Do yours come in size FA? (that's Fat A**, for you confused types) Hope all the birthday celebrations have been fun-filled today HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JUNIOR!!!

Laine, hope all goes well for Jenny, Sam, and their "boy Elroy"! Busy month for birthdays, it seems! Junior, Sherry's SIL, my DS was the 2nd, my sister was yesterday, my DD is tomorrow and now "Elroy" will be joining the group!

I had a friend have knee surgery. I picked her up and she was fine. But always scary going into surgery.

We booked air for January tonight!!
Actually had to use some $$ and some miles to get what we wanted. All the 100% free flights were gone
