:lmao: I figured out why you love me Elaine!! So you got what I sent you huh?? I completely forgot I did that!! :lmao: glad you liked it!!

Suzanne, I agree with you, no anti-inflamitories on an empty stomach. Though for me Aleve is the worst and ibuprofen is the easiest on me.
You made me smile with the singing high. You ought to try that high E at the end of "Phantom of the Opera" You know the one above the staff :p
Oh and I have two good electronic massagers at home, I just did that stupid chair while waiting for Luis to finish in the store. The foot part was good ;)

LOL, Tara, glad you figured it out! I was going to PM you if you didn't see it or get it. I just felt it was a good mid afternoon boards are crawling bump! I love what y'all are teaching in school :rotfl: It was such a cute article and I so appreciated getting it!!!!
Oh I hope Ethan feels better soon!

Nancy, if you've been below freezing how the heck does your house stay anywhere near 60 inside? I wonder if the lack of sun and temps below 50 for a high made it bad here. I usually don't whine, but when it dips below 60 in the house, I will turn the heat on. Of course this is still our iffy part of the year. Usually in April heat or nothing is running... May A/C is on... well sometimes... we alternate with heat and A/C a lot in May (in one day too ;)) Though last week before the coooooold snap, we had the A/C on for a while :teeth:
Good luck getting everything done! I think tomorrow I have yard work to do here and at my dad's.

Back from choir and it was a good practice. Learned both soprano and alto parts for this weekend. I like getting a jump start for Sunday night since I wind up being the only willing to sing alto there ;) We get a couple of weeks off though, so I'll enjoy free thursdays for a while!

We have a very well insulated house.
It was built in the energy saving years and has extra thick walls.
It has only gotten down to 64 lately :)

I am watching an old "bad" movie...so funny....The Giant Gila Monster :rotfl:

I'll get everything done....sometime ;)

Elaine...you wouldn't believe what we teach!! hehehehe

Nancy...sorry no one delivers to the sticks. That just ain't fair!!

Okay, i'm headed to bed. I've had my strawberries and I'm calling it a night!! Have a good one and i'll stop back tomorrow. I see my AP tomorrow so I will know for sure what I'm doing next year by noon!!

hugs to all!

LOL, Nancy, I hope you enjoyed that movie! Definitely doesn't sound like my type. Oh and I also realized in the winter my house never gets above 65, so I think I have less room to move colder and I notice a drop below 60 quick ;) Today should be warm enough to just let it go though :)

Tara, good luck today! Share the news when you get it! Oh and I like what you teach! If you get little "magazines" with Orlando Bloom in it, I am ALL there!!!!

Not sure what I am up to today. A little cleaning, and I should mow my dad's lawn :) Otherwise not too much going on.

It's kind of cute though, Cleo is sitting at my feet like a little puppy. We saw a news story last night about an overfill at the dog shelter. They had the cutest dogs there. I looked at Luis after he mimicked one saying "take me home" and he just said "NO!" I told him I was jealous of my dad since at the moment he has a dog with him and she rests her head at his feet. I wonder if Cle heard me last night ;)

Lainey, I hope you get lucky and Cleo destroys some slippers or something for you :)

Good morning Y'all-Y'alls

Today is grocery day. Oh joy!
Picking up our new grill after Junior gets home from work today. :bounce: We paid for it yesterday but they had none assembled, so we have to go today to pick it up.
Gonna watch the Cavs game and probably a movie after that. I'm sure the inlaws will come over to watch and probably a friend of ours if he isn't working. :)

Foot is still feeling icky. It feels like it needs to "crack" and its driving me crazy. Tummy is all better, though. :)

Tara, good luck today. Hope you get good news.

Nancy, what a bummer no one delivers to the sticks.

Good morning.

Grocery day here too....but I don't have nearly as much to buy as you do, Sherry. I save all the grocery money for Costco now :)

Someone coming to do an estimate on the bathrooms this afternoon. I hate waiting for people to show up.

Good luck, Tara. Can't wait to hear the GOOD news :hyper:

Have a good day Elaine. Enjoy mowing the lawn. You can come finish ours too :rotfl: Dave didn't get it done before he left and I don't do lawns.

 Alan.

:lmao: If you want a good laugh check out the Poo freezer thread!! That one cracked me up!!!

I'm still waiting to talk to my AP. She should be in here in a bit. I'll let you know as I talk to her. My mom has called me this morning too. I just have to be patient... I hate waiting and I'm not very patient!!

Going to check out cnn and see what's happening in the world. I'll be back later!
tara (whew...I didn't spaz and hit the return key to quickly!)

LOL... fortunately I never lost real clothing to any dog we owned. An old sock or towel maybe, but nothing else.

Good luck at the grocery store Sherry, especially with the foot! I had that same feeling on my ankle when I smashed it in the car door... it actually did start cracking a little on its own too. I was happy when that thing healed up! Have fun with the grill and the game tonight too!

Um, I think I'll pass on mowing your lawn as well, Nancy. I'll be lucky to just get my dad's front in. I think once it gets above 60 I'll go out there and do it. Still chilly here, but should be closing in on 70s tomorow. They kept saying that earlier this week, but we never got much above 60.
HOpe the estimate in the bathroom won't be too bad!

Tara, crossing my fingers for you. But for a second I wondered why your Annual Pass was on its way

Kind of hungry but not sure what to eat. I need a total change of pace from what I have been eating lately.

Morning Ya Yas!

Lovely day here; I'm just indoors so only get to look at it.

Nancy, hope it is warmer today for you.

Elaine, I think Cleo heard you. You want a dog? She'll show you.

Tara, waiting anxiously with you.

Beth, it was great to have you stop by. Miss you here. I agree about not knowing a B flat from a flat tire...me too.

Sherry, hope that foot "crack" happens in a nice way. I hate that feeling. It sounds like a great evening set up for all to enjoy. Go Cavs!

We went to a Cleveland Indians game last night. My first in the "new" location...we've had the "new" digs for over 10 years...I'm a bit slow. I've worked games, but not attended. Was a great evening...we won too! Oh, and we have a BaB location inside the stadium you can only get the mascot "Slider" there. It is sooo cute. (didn't get one :sad2: )

Weekend may actually turn out where fun can be had! (Some domestic work too) Doc visit spawned another procedure for me. Scheduled for 15th May. I think that will do it for my spring health events then. Good news is doc ok'd my parcipation in training for wogging events. Glad of that.

Good morning YaYas...

It's Friiiiiday!! Sheesh! Long week! :faint:

Ketchup portion of the thread:

Which book did you need to read Elaine? It was a rather odd assortment of titles, but I wanted to send a variety. If nothing else, they'll be good for trade in value at your local used book store. :p

Bocelli on AI.... :cloud9: 'Nuff said.

I'm skeered to open the frozen poo thread.

Someone stole Popyeye's chicken!!

Lily, I'm sorry to hear work has reached that "adjustments need to be made" stage. You're a smart lady and I'm glad to hear you won't let it affect your family life or time. That's so important. Same for you Elaine. Sounds as though it was time... I'm glad you got out when you did.

Tara, woo hoo on your job situation!!!

Yay for the extra car at Sherry's house! That's got to be a huge help!

Nancy is ahead of me in the carpet installing project. I still need to do a bit of research. I don't wanna, so keep putting it off. What's a good quality carpet ya'll? How do you know when it's good? Are there some magic "Pssst, I'm the good stuff" codes, numbers, etc... to look for???

You had the funks the other day Elaine?? Cheeto whomever caused it. Unless it was me. I don't look good in orange.

Lily, I'll be thinking good thoughts on May 15th. Hope it all goes smooth as silk for you.

A  for Miss Beth!

...annnnd I guess this concludes the ketchup portion. Actually I guess it concludes the entire post. Can't think of anything else to say.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :yay: :cloud9:  :cool1: :bounce: I officially have the job I asked for!!! yippee!!!! She just came in and told me. She said it didn't take much to convince the principal because he knew she was serious about it!! woohoo!! Now the real work begins!! I have lots to do this summer to get ready for this job!!

Elaine... :lmao: AP= Annual Pass and Assistant Principal!!

Lily...good luck with your tests. Glad you can wog your way around the world!!

Kimmie...yep Popeye lost his chicken AND his Dough!! :lmao:

Okay, gotta go check out the classes I need to take this summer!! woohoo!!

tara

Yay for Tiara! Have fun studying this summer :)!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Sherry, if you haven't gone shopping yet, use one of those ECV thingies, please?

Lily, sorry for more procedures, but I'm praying that it helps. Yay that the doctor okayed wogging.

Nancy, so your yard looks a bit like mine when I had to go to NY-ran out of gas with a 50x10 patch in the middle left to do-it was kinda tall when I got back!

Kama, :wave2: (notice how I'm avoiding the whole kimmy/kim thing)

AA, my dog just would tear through the garbage and/or eat the baby oil bottle :lmao:

Suppose I should get some of this cleaning done, but I'm sitting for a sec.

I went to the mall to pick up my last check and exchange some pants at NY and co. I'm down from my 18s, the 16s fit comfortably. So I exchanged them all for 14s. I've got 12s and 10s packed away, so I'm set from here on out. The only reason why I've got all the 12s and 10s is that those Eddie Bauer khakis NEVER go out of style, lol!

Dillards had the croc style and color I wanted, but not the size-guess I've gotta get them on the website. Two weeks on tile and my PF is noticeable, but barely-I don't need meds for it, anyway.

Back tonight sometime!

Suzanne

:yay: :cheer2: Tara!! :cheer:
Glad it is working out the way you want.

Good luck, Lily. Hope things work out well for you.

Sherry, how did the shopping go?

Suzanne. The whole front yard is done....just not the back or sides. It is really long!
I was going to order Dave's crocs from the website until I saw they wanted $10 postage!! Do you have an REI around? Not sure if they are national or not.
Nordstroms also carry them.

The weather has been perfecto the last 2 days...at least for me. Sunny and 70. Love it. I did get the back patch weeded and the new flowers planted there and in the 6 deck planters. Saving the big planter for some other time.

Kimmie....do you have a place that you know you are getting your carpet? If so, they will guide you to the good ones ;)
But picking out the place was hardest for me. We did that several years ago when we did the bathroom floors. Liked them so much, that is where we will go. Small family owned place.
So I go in there, say this is where I want carpet, this color(s), show me the best :)
Last time they showed me about 6 or 7 samples, I narrowed it down to 3, took the samples home for a week. Laid them on the carpet to look at and walk over and picked from there.

so what did you decide to do, Elaine?
Dave would think 60 was good mowing weather....otherwise he gets too hot.

I just lost a post

since I'm tired (did wind up mowing, I'll do it later)

but woo hoo to you Tara!

Nancy, we've got a Nordy's in the snooty mall by the Tampa airport...suppose I could head over there on my way to work Monday. REI-haven't seen one since I moved down here, and I used to go there a lot with my Dad.

Got company for dinner now, so I really must clean. I spent a lot more time than I thought I would over at the school picking up the boys.

Suzanne

I just asked about REI because you can order off their website and have it delivered to their store and no postage cost. That is what I did for Dave....picking his up tomorrow.

sorry about the lost post, Elaine. Always hate that :(

I hate sitting around waiting for people to show up :(
I don't feel I can start doing anything....so here I sit. At least I can see out into the front from the computer ;)

trying this one again ;)

As I said, got the lawn cut. It isn't too bad, but far bigger than what I have at my house. Took a while and hopefully I won't have to do the back again. That one is the worst!
My dad did say that I could let the back go while he is gone, but it looked terrible with all the weeds.

LOL, Lily, apparently she was showing me! Of course the squaking was a dead give away that she is still a cat :rotfl:
Good luck with the procedure next month. I hope it won't be too bad.

Oh it was Metro Girl, Kimmie. I read that one now. I only have one left (A for Alibi) and I'll probably get to that one this weekend. I read through things quickly sometimes. Of course if I stopped reading I could get your box out to you :rolleyes1
As for funks? Eh, he's on my decent side again. Though he does look good in orange. I'll let you know if it happens again though ;)

Suzanne, woo hoo on the next smaller size!! Sounds like you are doing great! And I agree, EB khakis never go out of style. Glad you have a bunch of those set aside still.
Oh and believe it or not, a beauty store and our Hallmakrs both carry Crocs. I hope you can find what you are looking for!

Oh yeah :cheer2: woo hoo (again) :cheer2: for Tara :cheer2:

Thanks for AP, I couldn't get my mind off of WDW stuff :p

Nancy, glad you've had perfect weather for the yard work! It got warm enough here for me. I just walked fast to my dad's to make sure that when I took the sweatshirt off, I'd be okay in my tank top and capris. Actually next time I am just wearing plain shorts!
Sorry you are having to wait now. I really hate that too.

Oven yelled at me, so I can put the pizza in whenever I want... then not sure what we are doing tonight.
