Hi all

Air conditioner is finally fixed. Feels soo much better in here.
Jack said he will help me with my pictures. Looked at me like I was an idiot when I told him did not know how to post them. Hopefully I will have some up by tomorrow.
Went to Pirates movie yesterday. Saw the early show so it was not too crowded. Was a good movie. lots of action. Can't wait till next year.

Also hooked on solitare :)

No krispee kreme around here . Suppose to getting one in the next year or so.

Well if we had a better start on the day, John, that wouldn't have sounded too bad to me :teeth:

Tara, sounds like nice plans for your mom. I hope she enjoys her day :)
Good luck with the floor. I ought to send Luis over to you... get some real muscles in helping :p (okay I am just bragging up my hubby ;))

Tina, glad that Jack will be helping you with the pics. I cannot wait to see them. Woo hoo for seeing PotC as well. I loved it and I am hanging until next year. I'll have to see the movie at least once more before it is out of the theater ;) and then will probably have a marathon watching before we see the next one next summer.

Ah, the sun finally came out... maybe I'll have to catch some sun soon :)

just got out of the shower and getting ready for dinner. you all have a great evening. oh and I hope this is readable I came into the computer wihtout my glasses and I'm blind as a bat without them so I'm touch typing and hopeing for the besst.

have a good evening gang!!

back from dinner. It was good...what I got to taste!! lol!!

Things were going very well until the chef made the first fire. Ethan and Ella both came unglued and were screaming. Ella eventually calmed down...I don't think Ethan has yet recovered. He wound up sitting in my lap shaking and crying throughout the whole meal. So i had my dinner on me because I had to get it across the plate, across him, and into my mouth!! He's still a little jittery now. It was funny because after the guy was done cooking I thought we would be fine...but as soon as he saw anyone in the white coat for cooking he would start shaking and try and hide :( Poor guy!! Good thing we can't afford to go there often :teeth:

On the way home we stopped and picked up some ice cream, hot fudge topping, and whipped cream for an ice cream party. Then we all sat around the table adding lots of goop to our ice cream!! yummy!!!

okay, i'm off to work on my cross stitching for a while.

tara

Elaine - You missed out on some yummy shishkabob (chicken and beef). And Sue made some fried rice to go with them. James was here briefly before heading back to school. I guess that he and some friends are camping out this evening. We're off to Carrolton tomorrow to drop off Sarah at camp. Did I already mention that? I guess I'm excited about being kidless for the week. Now if only I had another week's worth of vacation....

John, that does sound good... okay Tara's does as well.

We just finished eating but now I want more *sigh*

Tara, I am sorry that your little one didn't do well at the restaurant. I never would've thought that could scare little ones.

We've stayed inside pretty much all day. That was Luis' choice... I am honestly restless now and really want to go out and do something. Maybe he'll go for a sundae or the like....

..... :confused3 I haven't seen it yet....we had a b-day party for my DS's, Jesse (18) and Dylan (12), so I was really busy running around and cleaning and stuff......

BTW ~ AspiringCindy showed up (even though I gave her a DIFFERENT b'day party date....DRAT :badpc:.... :teeth: ) and was kidding me about her posts from the other day....

Morning all! Beautiful rainy day here :p Luis was going to cut the grass this weekend, but got too lazy to do it yesterday so it looks like I'll have to do it on Tuesday

Kimmar, not sure why you are confused. What you quoted was directed at Tina about PotC.
Hope the party went well for you!

Boring day ahead for us I think. We'll have church then lunch then... well whatever (probably being bored around the house again)

You used the confused smilie there right after you quoted something I said. I usually take that to mean that whatever I typed made the person confused. Not sure what else that would mean :confused3

good morning gang,

not going to even try and deicpher Kimmar and Elaine's conversation! :teeth:

Stayed up late playing Yahtzee with mom last night. I won 8out of the 15 games we played!!

Today she is going to color my hair so that i don't have a cruella devil streak!!

Off to look around before i have to go take care of my kids!!

....NOW-W-W-W-W I got it......I used the :confused3 smilie because I meant it as "I'm-shrugging-my-shoulders-cuz'-I-haven't-seen-POTC-yet" [shame on ME], NOT because I was confused...... :teeth:

For the past three years that happened to us - being totally kidless for a week. My husband would jubilantly declare it "LoveFest 2003" or "LoveFest 2004" and then "LoveFest 2005."

Sadly - so far we can't get rid of the little buggers at the same time this year. :guilty:

;)

Tara - poor Ethan. Now when he goes to the Dr.'s he will think he's going to a Japanese Steakhouse!! :lmao:

Tina! :wave2: I will confess that I don't know how to upload pics, either. Lainey always has to do that for me. I just learned how to use the card reader on my computer! Yay for A/C that works!!!!

Elaine - $6900.00 for the Bug. (Plus we figure about $1,000 for the parts and repairs that he's making, i.e.: 2 back tires, serpentine belt, water pump, tail light, rotors, brakes, and brake pads.)

Went to a truck show yesterday and then a graduation party. We have another party today.

Everyone have a great day! :sunny:

Morning!

Had a busy weekend and never got on the computer. Everyone else is at church  so I thought I'd pop in real quick. :teeth:

We went to an Indians game on Friday night. Spent the afternoon in Cleveland beforehand and stayed for fireworks after the game. Went to The Henry Ford yesterday then to RFC for dinner. Got back after midnight.

Going to see POTC tonight. Its at the cheap theater by our house. :bounce: We are buying advance tix to make sure we get in.

Pam, hopefully DD gets her bug. I would love to have one someday. A red or blue convertible one. :teeth:

Oooh! I guess Junior and I are cool parents, too, cuz we took the boys to see ALL the Pokemon movies AND the Digimon movie AND the Yu-Gi-Oh movie. :faint: :tigger: :lmao:

Elaine, how cool to have a mall within walking distance. ::yes::

Tara, happy b-day to your mom!!! :)

Todd, :lmao: at the underwear story!!

 Paula, Tina, Kimmar, Suzanne, John, and RM!!

Gotta go grab some lunch and do a bit of cleaning, then jump in the shower.

 and mad love to all!!

I :worship: to Sherry and Junior!!

You went to ALL of those movies? :faint:

;)

And DD would love a convertible Bug, too! She really likes those bright blue and green Bugs! (Hers is white.) But she will take what she can afford! :teeth: (Can you believe a 2006 VW Bug Convertible is around $24,000!!!??!!)

Hi, Honeys!

I finally got some sleep, woohoo! The shorter workweek didn't mean less hours for me, but I won't have another week like that anytime soon.

I'm attempting ketchup here, forgive me if I miss:

Cindy, are you the older or younger sister? My siblings don't DIS (thankfully!)

Kimmar, did you get to see POTC yet? Possibly seeing it Wednesday. :cool1:

Lainey, didya get that ice cream?

John, shish kebab? Let me know next time!

Sherry :worship: I have a hard time with the kids watching Destiny Dioxis on dvd! Sounds like a nice, active weekend! :)

Tara, poor Ethan! I have a feeling you'll do dinner somewhere else next time. Bummer.

Tina, woohoo on A/C.

Todd, ewww on skid mark undies-from cars!

Funny that Kimmar posted the Krispy Krack picture-I'd had a need for coffee yesterday morning, so it was the mgr special from KK. They were hot from the fryer. Yummy.

Trying to figure out what we're going to do today. Think we're going out for lunch, which seems to now be the Sunday tradition since I don't work it anymore! :cheer2:

Enjoy your Sunday, everybody!

Suzanne ~

No I didn't... :sad2: (I was busy getting everything ready for my two DS's b-day party yesterday)...I still have some more homework that I have to finish before this Thursday......

Afternoon, everyone! Had a tough weekend at work and just enjoying my day off today. Went to late service at church and got to see the sweetest little angel sleep right through her baptism! So nice to have a chance to stand around after church and chat, too. Choir director is looking for a music piece for me to sing with someone else one Sunday before the choir comes back from summer break, so I'm pretty excited about that. We went to lunch at IHOP, then stopped at the grocery store, now we're home watching the soccer game. Looks like it's gonna be a very active game!!

Glad to hear you're gettin' cooled down now, Tina. Thank goodness that A/C got fixed!

Tara, sorry the kids were unnerved at the restaurant. Hope Mom had a great birthday anyway! Sounds like the ice cream was a perfect cap to the day!

Laine, thanks for the heads up on the pirate movie being so much darker. I haven't had a chance to read any of the reviews, so I'm glad you've prepared me. I think we're going to wait till next weekend--I'm so worn out from the past few weeks I'm afraid a dark room would just put me right to sleep!

Pam, I hope that car is worth the wait for your DD. Although, it sounds like the dealer is trying to do right, albeit with dragging feet. Nice that both kids will be driving really cool cars, now!!

Darn, I KNEW there was a reason I was wanting to head to Ohio this weekend! That shish ke bob dinner sounded REALLY good, John! And what a nice surprise James prepared to welcome you home! Someday, some woman is going to be eternally grateful to you all for the way you've raised him!!

Sounds like you had a great weekend, Sherry!! LOVE the Henry Ford, too. Don't know HOW you and Junior made it thru all those crazy movies over the years, though. You must have a very high pain threshold!

Suzanne, YAY for sleep and hope it doesn't get to that point again! Hope you enjoyed your lunch out and have a great day off.

Need to do some googling.......got some new sample layouts at the store that need pictures. I love finding fun pix on the 'net! Hope everyone has a wonderful and restful Sunday. Mad love and :grouphug:

afternoon all. Hey beth glad you have a chance to recover.

Haven't done a darn thing today...oh except torment the dog and the rabbit by cutting their nails. boy that's fun.

Just got back from the grocery store and we're having steak and taters for dinner! yummy!!! While we were there Jarrod decided that since he wasn't allowed to get any toys or such, that he needed to buy grandma some flowers for her birthday! hehehe Sly little devil!!

off to get dinner ready (well...help...cuz I don't do cooking :teeth: )
