Hi y'all! Very quick... special love to Pam & especially Rose Mary... been a while since you've posted here!

Been busy, fireworks are ON! Hopefully will be true for tomorrow too.

Will be gone all day most likely, though since I will be showing my laptop to my BIL & sister, I might get on. If not, I'll sneak on another way.

Good day in the afternoon... things finally looked up!

So.... since Alan is too busy to entertain me I'll have to watch fireworks

Looks like wet weather here tonight and tomorrow, too. Good thing we got to see fireworks Saturday night! I was nice and gave most everybody either a shortened schedule or the day off tomorrow. The store is open til 6, though, so I am working the whole day. Dave is defrosting a lovely pork tenderloin that he will grill up for us tomorrow night. YUM!!

Hey, Rose Mary!!! Good seeing you again! Don't worry about a complete ketchup--I think we were working on a bad version of a Harlequin romance. kimmar gave a great summation, though, so if you;d like to just continue from here......

Glad you were able to come up for air and drop in for a visit, too, Pam!! Miss you and that wonderful sense of humor of yours! Hope the boss isn't working you too hard and you can come play more often.

Sorry about your stripper, Tara, hope you don't wear yourself out sanding. Nice for you, too, that Jar is off to visit with his dad for the rest of the week! Have fun with your remodeling!!

Aww, Karen, I'm sorry you can't join us in October. It would have made the trip so much more fun!! Glad you'll have a chance to meet up with friends, though.

okay, the cb is killing me tonight!! apparently there are folks (or should I say a folk) who thinks that clique threads are mindless drivel so they have left the mods with lots of locking and poofing tonight!!

I dunno, maybe its me but I've always thought of the cb to be a place where drivel was acceptable and that was why we were here. i didn't know it was a place to do research for our next rocket ship building job!! geez, now they tell me the rules!! Maybe I'll start a thread asking how to build a rocket ship so that it won't be such drivel!! hehehehe

Just a reminder that this is a no drivel thread....everything must be important and totally relevant to everyone on the dis!!!

so here it is almost noon my time and my mom is still asleep and I'm on the computer being a total moron! (like that is anything different from the norm) and i haven't even begun the floor demo yet. Maybe I'll skip it today and cross stitch today..that is if i can get my lazy **** of this stooopid machine!!

I've seen Pam out posting today *ahem* missy you need to stop in and say hi today and keep me from having to be the only one here talking to myself...otherwise i might be told to get my own ezboard accoutn and talk to myself there

okay off to see if I'm a cool kid yet today. Oh and by the way I've invited new people to join us!!

Bethie, sorry about your rain. It was really soggy out this morning for the parade. We had it on hold due to lightening.

Lainey, crossing my fingers that you get your fireworks. We saw some around the inlaws last night. Dunno where we're going to view them tonight. Thinking of heading to St. Pete Beach to view all up and down the gulf, but Ed's gotta be up for work at 5am.

Went to Target yesterday and the furniture we'd agreed we buy for the lanai is gone. Ed doesn't want to go to Lakeland to see if either Target there still has it, but I do. We'll see.

HappyJuly 4 everyone!!

Quiet day here. Jack is working as always. Having a few air conditioning problems and hope they are fixed before he gets home(only cools down to 85 degrees).

Got a phone call from Mom. She and my sister are in Coco Beach to watch the shuttle take off. So far all looks good. Hoping she gets some good pictures.

As for my posting pics...I still don't get it. Any help is appreciated.

I happen to like drivel.

Beth could you please send some of that rain my way?? Pretty hot and dry here.

Tina...hope you get your ac fixed soon. I just watched the launch so I hope they got some good pics. I have all my pics hosted with image station. And then you click on the original image button and copy the url. Then click the picture of the mountain at the top of your posting page and paste the url into it. The only thing you have to do then is delete the .originaljpg and then you will have your picture. Does that help or only confuse??

Whew, what a day!! Business was reasonable at the store--could have been better, but then again, it could have been a whole lot worse! I took it upon myself to clean and reset the bookcases that house all the albums we sell. I now know that it takes about an hour to completely clean and reset one case. I got 9 cases done and I feel like I moved a mountain! I plan to keep my feet up for the rest of the evening, that's for sure!!

I'm being summoned to dinner, so ketchup will have to wait.

Suzanne, I can't wait to try that Raspberry pork, but Dave insisted we eat the older stuff first and this was the last of the May order. We loved the Italian Chicken and the Blackstrap Pork Chops already, though. And Dave especially likes the Chicken Fingers while I am really enjoying the Veggie Lasagna and the Quiches. He doesn't want anything to do with either of those! LOL!!!

I believe I'm all ketchupped now! Hope ya'll have a wonderful evening--I'm going to pour me a glass of wine and just chill out for awhile. Mad, mad love and a huge
