Good morning y'all!

We had a long night at Chick-Fil-A last night trying to help an aunt remove her nephew from the play area when he did not want to leave my daughter.

But today my oldest daughter is doing nothing more than taking up space.
Yep, she is on a bus with kids from our church going here

Home...tired....still have money ;)
Need to do laundry and run errands.
Back later.

And Happy Anniversary to us!!

Oh Alan, you and Mrs. AA are the Best! I think I would have loved taking up space there.

Paula, boo on the email. Such unprofessional "professionalism" when someone thinks that they must control employees by being mean. Your response is spot on. Good luck with the rest of life.

Elaine, maybe cutting grass slightly wet would be good to not disturb your allergies?

Sherry, Eek! on playing laundry catch up with your full house. I know it is a nightmare when I need to do that and I only do laundry for 3 now since the 2 DSs manage their own.

Sherry, good luck catching up with everything! I know that can be a PITA to do. I still haven't folded my laundry yet :rolleyes1
I hope Julian has fun tonight!

How fun for Lela! I do hope she has a great time today :)

Welcome home Nancy!!!!
And Happy Anniversary to you and Dave

Can't wait to hear all about the trip :)

Lily, normally a good thought, but with one pill allergies do not bother me from grass too much. If I tried to cut it wet, it would clump too much and probably stall the motor. We need our blades sharpened before I try something like that ;)

I suppose I ought to either fold laundry or cut grass now....

Welcome home, Nancy! And Happy Anniversary to you and Dave. :lovestruc

Alan, what a cool trip!

Got a call from my mom. My grandmother (who has had Alzheimer's for about 16 yrs) apparently hurt her leg over the weekend. They have no idea how and they don't know if she fractured it or not, because her bones are so dense, they can't tell. She was to go to an orthopedist today for testing, but she has developed a fever and she is dehydrated. She refuses to drink and her urine is a dark brown. :( They think she may have kidney failure. :( If you could, could you please say a prayer for her. I can't bear the thought of her sitting in the nursing home in pain and not even knowing why or who she is. :(

Sherry, I am so sorry about your grandmother. Mine was just diagnosed with that as well. My heart really goes out to you all. Hang in there and I will keep you all in my prayers

Quiet day here... wish I had something exciting to add though :p

Before y'all get the wrong idea, Lela is not going to Space Camp; it is just held at that facility.

Perhaps one day though. I've had friends who attended and they loved it.

But this was a one day trip to the museum, which is cool in itself ::yes:: I've been there several times.

Speaking of up and away, I was caught by a newspaper photographer earlier this week.

Sherry, PD, prayers, and  many hugs to you.

Nancy and Dave, hope your anniversary celebration was spectacular.

AA, are you preparing autographed copies for distribution at the next Ya Ya event? That's still a nice place to play. We've stopped there while passing through. Great visit.

here's my ketchup:

:rotfl:

Good morning everyone. I got whipped tired yesterday. I do have to finish yard work today though, but I'll do it at my own leisure I think. I didn't realize it, but it was so dang windy out on the lake on Weds that my arms were actually sore from trying to keep the jetski in line. Dang it was fun though.

My dad and I are looking at boats now :teeth:

Anywho, I know she rarely pops in, but just in case...

Happy Birthday Amanda :)

Alan, that is such a neat picture of you! I imagine that the 13 year old was better at holding it down than you though :rolleyes1

Next Ya Ya event? You know Lily, I think we really ought to plan one. Anyone in?

Tara :rotfl: How funny is that!!!! Kind of cute that he is ready at such a young age :teeth:

I agreed to have the cookout here for my dad for Father's Day, so I better make sure the house is pretty spotless by then!

Morning Ya Yas!

Elaine, seems like you need to build arm strength. We'll have to get you out doing more yard work and jet skiing! I'd love to be in if it's at all possible.

Amanda, Happy Birthday! Enjoy.

Tara, Glad that it wasn't too messy. Our guys would do that all the time with their Dad. Oh the memories you bring back to me.

Not at all. In fact, they told me I had a real gift for being ballast :rotfl:

Morning, all!

Our first day of business went great-lot of work and we got done in time! :cheer2: My second group consisted of people who'd been before and with the 70's music in a nice dance groove, they started dancing on our 'dance floor' (this store is twice the size of the other). I got pictures and the boss was laughing when I told him! I have to upload those pictures to the imagestation today for work. :teeth:

Happy Anniversary, Dave and Nancy!
Happy Birthday, Amanda!

Paula, soundling like you're living the "serenity prayer' right now!

Tara, Hope you're having fun with those hyper kids today! Last day, woohoo!

Lainey, I'm with you on using different muscles. My legs feel like I've been horseback riding again from all the moving around and strange stuff I've worked on (gee, I think that ladder event had something to do with it, too!)

Sherry, I hope things with your GM get figured out.

Ed and I had a good laugh on the "How much do you spend to keep beautiful?" thread. It was good-he sees that I'm a bargain! :)

I'll pop back in later!

Suzanne

Okay so I moved our dates again for WDW...

We'll just be arriving and leaving one day earlier now. Air was annoying me so I played with dates and got this. Not making a huge impact on anything we have going though. Actually it might mean I overlap with you Lily? Or am I still off. We'll be there at 9:30 that morning :)

So anywho... we booked our air for WDW, have a car rental just in case, and the room has been re-booked at the Boardwalk Villas (waitlist for BCV moved as well)

As for a Ya Ya gathering, any good ideas? :teeth:

Uh huh... nice one Alan... you ain't that big ;)

Work sounds like a lot of fun there, Suzanne! I am glad you all are enjoying it so much. Is Ed working there now?
Take care of your muscles as well. I would with mine, but I have a lot I wanted to do today outside with yard stuff. Includes cleaning off a table and chairs :)

Congratulations on a good first day, and that sounds like a lot of fun.

Now since we are such good friends, may I steal this?

Happy Anniversary, Dave and Nancy!

Because I have not mentioned any of those important things

Bama hugs for all those who need them ::yes::

Alan...I didn't think you were THAT full of hot air...but if you say so..okay!!!

Suzanne...glad the day went well. woohoo!!!

Gearing up for a huge weekend for me. I need to clone myself.

I have Friday Night Date Night with DH...something small since the remainder of the weekend is super packed. Morning walk/run with my crew. We have Relay for Life event this weekend. Gack! Fathers Day Weekend! It is a 24 hour event Saturday noon to Sunday noon no less. Then there is our bestest neighbor's retirement party tomorrow evening--a surprise we all hope. Then there's our annual Father's Day trip to Stan Hywet Hall and Grounds for the car show and stroll on the grounds Sunday a.m. with friends It is supposed to be hot hot hot this weekend too.

Whee! Enjoy it while ya got it everyone :dance3:

Ooooh, I'll take one! What can I say? Your dance has enslaved me :

It is awfully hot for Relay for Life, but I hope it is a lot of fun and successful for y'all.

Hey y'all... got a bunch done today, so I won't have to do near as much tomorrow :) Tired though, and I promised to spend time with Luis tonight, so this'll be quick ;)

Alan, you are such a theif! Shame on you! I do hope you have a great weekend for Father's Day though :)

LOL, Tara, I like your way of working... then playing... then working... ;)

Lily, busy sounding weekend you have! Good luck with everything and try to stay cool. I'm thrilled with the HOT weather, but I hope it doesn't get in your way too much.

Mad love to all! See y'all later!

one year down, 12 to go!! Jarrod survived his first year of school! He is sad now and not very happy to be away from school.

I finished cleaning my room and then went and harrassed Astrid and Susan for a while and then we went to another teacher's Tiki Bar in her garage. This looked like one of those make overs you see on tv. It was soooooo cool!! She had enough drinking material to keep a bar open!! I had more fun watching everyone else!! hehehe

Now I'm going to bed, we are taking the kids to the zoo tomorrow and are going to meet up Chris and Ella (Beth took her mom to Ohio to see mom's dad...he had a heart attack two days ago and isn't expected to live very long :( ) Should be fun!!

So hugs to everyone and I'll check back tomorrow!!
