I completely forgot about this! Kimmar...good thoughts to your DMIL, I can't beleive they did that to her!

I know that when my grandpa was put into a nursing home we only left him there for 24 hours before we went in and ripped him out. I hope the surgery goes well for her!

...just got back from the hospital.....5-1/2 hr surgery went really well.....they replaced her entire knee and part of her damaged femur, while getting rid of all the screws that were dislodged.....thanks for all the prayers

Kimmar...glad you MIL is on the mind. Prayers for the recovery time.

This weekend is busy for us. Tonight Mandy has a b-day party to attend, I will spend 'quality' time with Cassie. Tomorrow Cassie has a b-day party to attend, I will spend 'quality' time with Mandy. I need to get to the gym in the morning. After the party we are off to see HSM I think Sunday will be quiet once we get back from church. I am so glad I am off work on Monday.

No "good news" on the jeep yet. Really hate having to be carted around but, thankful I have a co worker that can help.
Problem, I have tickets for a Styx concert Sun. Not really excited about it anymore since my friend that was going with me had to go out of town for a funeral. Who wants to join me?

I'm back! Didya miss me?

Rosemary, Styx was one of my faves in high school-them and Rush. I'd go with you if it wasn't so far away. Our weather days got tacked onto the Christmas break and 'Easter' break. They call those teacher workdays, but they always seem to fall whenever Easter lands on the calendar.

Blasted foot had me up at 4am, so I'm vegging again right now. Waiting on a call back from the doctor about the RSD opinion and what I can do to alleviate that issue.

Amanda, you must have paid the 'karma bill' for it to work out that way. We always seem to have two parties for Kevin in the same weekend. Enjoy the Monday off.

Kimmar, and good thoughts for a speedy recovery for your MIL. Lovely Rehab hospital there-sounds like we need a cheetoh patrol for those nimrods.

Tara, thanks for giving me pics to look at, yay!

Paula, isn't a dryer great? No more 'crunchy' clothes. I was very lucky a long time ago, my dad bought my washer and dryer. FOOD and WINE FESTIVAL and I'll even make sure I have an AP by then so I can go with you.

The bright spot of there having been an orange grove here is that I know that the citrus trees I'll plant will do fine! The way the new communities are sprouting up, I'm tempted to call a developer and say I'll be happy to take a few of the trees off their hands. Only problem is how I'd get them here!

Alan, hope you have fun causing trouble at your seminar!

Gotta do a little bit of work stuff on the computer. One of the other managers put together a communications binder for her department, so we other two department managers were told we need to have them, too. It's a good idea, but I got this news on Wednesday morning, got sick Wednesday night and went to bed early last night. Need to have it when I go into work today. I brought home every piece of training materials for my department-between scanning and typing, it should only take an hour.

Alyssa and boyfriend finished their jigsaw puzzle - with help from Jeffrey - it a pic of someplace at the Canadian border with street signs from all over the US - last thing I hear he was telling her "Alyssa we can make a frame for this".
We ordered more memory for Jeffrey's computer and it came in yesterday - he is most happy that all his programs are running better now.
Alyssa has my car so I guess I'll be cleaning today - have counselors with Chris this afternoon (give me strength.).
