Hi y'all..back from my long weekend.
Suzanne you beautiful YaYa, I think you take a great picture!
Tara, tell your TA that Sherlock Holmes did not know the planets in the solar system, nor the earth's revolution. He said there was no use wasting the space in his brain for facts that were not relevant to practical matters of his life
Sorry about the strep, and the straps too (new bra comments)
Todd, have fun unwrapping any VS presents. However, since that includes slippers, unwrapping may mean that you are giving a tootsie massage.

Liz, trading out cookie baking for personal shopper services sounds great!
Amanda, what is the book series that you get for your nephew?
Paula, I'm glad to be thought of, even if it is for a redneck gift.
It sounds like everyone had relaxing weekends, for the most part. Okay, it was a little "ruff" on Chip, but he got over it
I took the day off on Friday and did a little shopping with Mrs. AA and then we went to the girls' school for their Christmas chapel program. Each class did recitations on things they have been learning; it was very nice.
Mrs. AA and Abigail went to our Sunday School department Christmas party Fri. night while Lela and I went to a birthday party at the skating rink.
On Saturday, we and my MIL drove up to Huntsville for our nephew's birthday. There are never guests other than family so our attendance is mandatory. It was a good time though, and now all of them will drive down to our house this Sat. for our Christmas celebration.
Mrs. AA sang "O Holy Night" as a solo Sunday morning and was well-received but she has so many breathing problems this time of year that we left when she finished and she crashed/slept for a few hours while I worked on Christmas cards.
Then I returned to church last night while she and the girls relaxed at home. We had a concert from a regional family group who were incredible. There are four children - 3 girls who are 19, 17, 15, and a 12 year old boy. They are accomplished violinists and gave a Christmas concert. It was excellent!
