Hi there, remember me? I have been SOOOO busy it has been here. Puppydom is a lot of fun, but man did I forget just how much work a puppy is. Chip has slept through the night TWO glorious nights this week I am hoping this trend continues!!!

My mother was here last week....she left with her life still intact...barely! Greg thought it would be nice to have her here just before the holidays. WTH was he thinking? Anyway, she was here not even 5 minutes and managed to drop the baby gate on Chip. He was stuck underneath it and I was sure he was a goner. Needlesss to say, the week did not go much smoother....it was a long one. Thankfully Chip made it through...as did we all.

The day before my mom was to leave, Greg's back went out. It does this every year about this time. SO he has been on his back for a good part of the week. He took off two days of work...that NEVER happens..and has had to take it easy all week. I think he is just starting to feel a little better....today is the first day in a week that I have not had to put his socks on

Christmas here is going to be pretty quiet. All of the shopping is done. Greg's family will be in Disney for the holidays so the girls were very easy to sshop for. Both got Disney Crocks and some other Disney appearal for the trip....Mickey earrings included! They were pretty easy to shop for. My niece and nephew will get gift cards as they are so far away, and they seem to like them anyway. The adults don't usually get much...and my mom and dad are sent gift baskets so my shopping is really pretty easy. Greg was really easy to shop for this year as well. I got professional pictures taken of Chip. All I have to do is pick them up and put them in a frame...done. I got new bedding from Greg, so we are pretty mcu done. Gonna be really quiet here. I think I will make a turkey, some trimmings and it should be pretty quiet.

This week I guess I will be baking LOTS of cookies. Our decorator loves my Christmas cookies and has no time to bake. I made a very good deal with her...I will trade my time for hers. She will get lots of cookies (she will pay fro the ingredients for them) and we will get a day of her time after the holidays accesory shopping....typically she charges about $50 an hour to shop with people....and we will get it for my day of cookie baking. What a good deal for us. Thankfully, she has never charged us $50 an hour....but this works out well for everybody.

It sounds like everybody is in the swing of things.

Tara, sorry to hear about Jar...hope Ethan can escape the strep!

Pam. glad to hear you are all finished with your stuff!

Paula, sounds like you have been a shopping fool! Hope you are about done!

Amanda and Todd...sounds like you both are going to have a very Merry Christmas!!

Elanie, glad that you and Luis were able to spend some time together. Greg and I have been doing a lot of that lately and we have enjoyed it as well!

Sherry, LOVE the new specks! They look great.

Beth, glad you and Dave had a great time. Welcome home! When you get your laundry done.....you are more than welcome to come for a visit here...I have LOTS of laundry here as well.

To all that have sent Christmas cards...a great big THANK YOU!! Sadly, I have no idea where my cards or address book is packed...so I will not be sending cards out this year We have even decided no tree this year as well.....but next year we will go ALL out.....cards, tree and garland and lights on the big ole porch. Really we are not grinching it..we just have no idea where anything is and so much has been going on. I really am looking forward to Christmas next year.

Anyway, that is what has been going on here. I will work a little harder at making some time to pop in and say hey~

Yesterday we took the boys to Ponderosa for lunch, went bowling (last family day for DH's job) and then came home and watched a movie and caught upon DVR stuff.

Well, I am enjoying a bit of Chip in the napping mode this morning....trying to get a few things done around here....but alas the ssleeping puppy thing does not last long I have some shopping to do myself for cookie stuff and I am going to stop by Pier One. Last month we bought a bunch of stuff that is all now on clearance...gonna see if I can return and rebuy The stuff is more than half off now, so I figure it is worth the effort..and I could use an extra $50.

Not much else going on around here...just pretty much same old stuff...differant day!

Off to get some laundry done since Bethie never showed up....have a good one everyone!!!

Hi, all!

Had to drive home and change before I head to work. Left Ed and the boys over at WDW with my SIL. On the way over Saturday, I called CRO to see if perhaps there were rooms available that sleep 5 in a moderate. Riverside did, so we swapped the one night at the Poly for two nights at Port Orleans. It was rather nice.

The wedding was beautiful, the dessert party was awesome and we both enjoyed some time away from the kids. It was kinda funny to be around the non Disney freaks (Heather and Jason are definitely HUGE fans) and know that it would only take their wedding to get some of the relations to WDW.

Yay to everyone who's accomplished shopping. Ed and I have chipped away at our lists-but we haven't even conquered to family up North-so the nephews and niece will have post Christmas gifts. With all that's gone on, the time to write cards is past-if you get one in January, please don't laugh.

Paula, good deal that your coworker can spend the holidays in her home.

Liz, glad you survived your mom's visit...want some wine to recover?

Tara, so when does winter break begin for you? IL's decided we're having dinner over there-not realizing that I had planned to invite my stepdad here, so I understand your situation!

Lainey, no you can enjoy your relaxing with Luis .

Shopping is almost down to only gift cards. Just ordered my nephew a book online, for some reason Wally World did carry this years edition. Didn't want to break tradition since I get him this book every year. Hardest is BIL. Any ideas for a guy who mainly is a work-aholic, home body, weight lifting type of guy. He only eats "healthy"....so gc to a restaurant is hard to pick. My sister said to get him protein bars, don't feel this is a good gift. HELP!

Liz....I think Mandy would like a Wii also. Although her new request was an ipod. If only she would have realized skipping a birthday party would have gotten her that

Another running hello!!

Alyssa is taking her last exam as we speak so I'll be leaving to get her shortly (nice part about her being so close!).

I went shopping with my friend/co-worker yesterday - got more done - I was able to find North Face Fleece jacket that Alyssa wanted and also got fleece pants - she loves those - that will be her big gift I think. got lotsa DVD - also got the GPS for Jeffrey - so I'm on a roll - just few little things and gift cards to get this week. Even manger to get in ssome grocery shopping!

Didn't manager to load my pics yet though - so nothing to post there.

Amanda - woohoo for lunch with Todd.... for BIL what about a subscription to a fitness mag? or gift cert to GNC?

Pam - hurray on finishing the column!! I have to tell you - my friend Judy bought her husband this toy truck at Dicks - 2 hunter guys in it - and a deer strapped to the top - press the button and the deer since "Sweet Home Alabama"....(yes - I did say that Alan) - we laughed so hard in the store!!

Yep...Can't wait to see the big man in his jammies!! hehheehe I found some really cute Jammies for the boys so I thought the christmas picture with santa would be really cool with them in their jammies.

Liz...nope not bed...Jar is behind on his reading books this month so we had story hour and a half, then I had to hunt down our mortgage papers so I can take them to the CU today for the HE loan stuff. Then I sat down and didn't move again until midnight!

I'm at work, don't want to be here! I have too much to do at home and am just not in the mood for working! I know the kids are going to be really obnoxious today and it will get worse as the week wears on!

We don't get out until Friday.

I have to go write some crap on the board for these youngins...i'll be back later! trust me on that one!!

Good Morning to all!
Been MIA 'cause I was down and out the end of last week.
Had a great time at MVMCP but, probably won't spend the extra $$$$ again. Not worth it now that you don't get a pic. Plus I definitely will not go the weekend before Christmas again. It was WAY too crowded. Even DTD was a nightmare yesterday. But, DS is so proud of himself. My sister helped him buy my Christmas present and apparently the cashier was really sweet and hooked him up with the box, paper and all kinds of stickers. He really did a great job. Wonder what he got me?
Not done w/shopping. Nothing wrapped. Put tree up last night but, no ornaments yet. DS and I will do that tonight.
Haven't had time to ketch-up! Gotta try to pretend work some.
