You can laugh at me... I read that whole post again just now, and I know what I did. As soon as you said "goodnight" I moved to the next post :rotfl:

You need to put that kind of stuff *before* goodnight :p
 sorry!! I'll make my big announcements before I say goodnight from now on! :teeth:

We took the tour on Saturday and it really makes sense for us. I didn't like the idea of having to stay in the same place every time last year, but this year it doesn't sound bad. I still have to come up with the rest of the down payment. But I have 30 more days. Do you think the kids would mind if I told them that we weren't getting any presents this year..just a room at WDW for the next 47 years??? :rotfl:

back later (I really need to get some work done!)

Howdy, all.

Been a busy girl-work has gotten hectic, now that the calendar says December. :teeth: Gee, dunno why that happens in a 5 week holiday season, but it does. Foot has been a pain, as has the vascular stuff. I slept poorly last night, so after getting the boys off to school, I took a painkiller and went back to sleep.
Yes, I'm calling the vascular surgeon for an appointment.

Woohoo on Tara buying into DVC. I'll be there with you in a year or so. (I bought, then had to cancel before). Has anyone fired you today?

Lainey, Luis made it home okay, right? I've had the buckeye candies, but didn't realize that the real thing was good luck

Howdy, Caroline. So, Atlanta location-does this mean you're all graduated? Is Atlanta your permanent home?

Sherry, I'll take your two boys and send you Neil-sounds like it might be a fair trade.

Paula, :grouphug: Hope that the day gets better.

Rosemary, what's the deal with freezing in the am and then 70 by lunchtime? Dunno how to dress the kids for this stuff!

John, safe travels and enjoy that limo ride. I'd come over to see you, but I'm conserving the walking for the wedding we're going to next weekend.

We found out what to get the kids after them not saying anything. Kevin's been saying he wants an iPod, but Ed got an MP4 player (a good one, too) free with the purchase of a new hard drive. Neil told his teacher he wants a computer for him and his brother-can't argue that one too much. Ed'll be doing research on that one.

Count me in for bowling. Love playing! Especially in states where bowling alleys have bars, too (Maryland does not!).

Lily, :wave2:

Hey, I had two famous people in the store yesterday-Michael Learned (from the waltons) and Lindsay Brien (from the Real World Seattle). Ms. Learned was very, very sweet and has beautiful eyes. Half my coworkers didn't know what the Waltons were, but when she was telling me what work she's been doing, they realized who she was from the guest starring performances. Can't say I've seen any of those other shows, lol.

Suzanne

TC...good luck on the flight and congrats on the limo ride.

Suzanne...cool that you met Michael Lerned. She always seemed like a neat lady. I have no idea who the other person is! I need to pm you and find out where you work!

They are selling SSR right now with $15 off per point for their 15th anniversary. They are giving that as part of the down payment so it takes off quite a bit of money. I hope I won't have to back out of it. going to try not to!!

alan..have a good afternoon!!

I might have a detainee this afternoon if he doesn't start working!! Back later,
tara

Suzanne, I didn't recall actress names so I had to look her up assuming she would be one of the daughters. I didn't realize you meant Olivia LOL

I think "Goodnight John Boy" is always going to be part of pop culture even though kids have no idea what it means.

What does it mean? :confused3 :duck:

Alan, they'd kill Gators too ;)

Thank you Tara! I just seriously cannot believe that is why I missed it before. You said good night and I move on :rotfl: I really am happy for you and glad you have a good deal on the points! Silly question though, do you have to wait a year to book after that $15 off? That was an old deal they used to give. And heck you should have listed one of us as a reference... at least in Ohio we get the kickbacks for referrals (not all states do). Seriously I am so glad you are able to do it. And remember, you aren't stuck at the same place every time anyway. If you do like OKW, it is usually easy to get into. THe only one I haven't gotten into that I've wanted was Beach Club... even for Oct, I had full choices other than that!

Suzanne, Luis still isn't home, but he is on his way. I should see him by 7 at the latest. Poor boy is dead tired. Whomever organized this stuff did a piss poor job of it!
Oh and yes, the real thing is good luck! As long as you don't ingest it ;)

Just waiting for Luis to come home... worked on some music at church today. I might go in again this weekend to do the Christmas mass if Eric has that all done for me.

eek...I don't know if you have to wait a year or not...they are still selling the oct. 2006 points so as of next november I'll have 300 points for our trip!! :woohoo:

I haven't told my db yet... I'm too afraid to tell him! I'm already arguing with him in my head about it, even tho I know it is none of his business!!

I'm still at work, trying to get some work done. Not getting much done, but I'm trying!! hehehehe

back later!

Nephew is gone and dinner is in the oven. Two of the boys are already eating cuz they don't like what I made. :rolleyes1

Elaine, hope Luis gets home soon.

Tara, good deal on the points.

Suzanne, cool that you had celebs in the store.

Alan, Gators will never know what Buckeyes taste like. :teeth:

:furious: :furious: :furious: I just lost my whole daggone post!!! It was a good ketchup, too!! Now it's time for dinner and then choir practice, so I don't have time for a do-over.

Special   for Paula

Mad love and :grouphug:

Morning!

Quiet night.....found us on page 4!

Beth, sorry you lost your post. That is so frustrating.

We got lucky so far, and only have a teeny bit of snow. Some other areas got slammed. Hopefully John makes it to the airport OK.

Morning all! I meant to check in last night, but didn't get around to it after Luis got home!

Tara, I did look up briefly the sales I have been notified about for buying points, and it looks like they have a similar deal, save the wait a year! So woo hoo and you picked a good year to buy then :teeth: I am not sure I would tell your DB anyway... at least not out of the blue, if something ever comes up I might mention it, but I get the feeling he wouldn't understand anyway ;) Though you could just say you pre-paid your vacations for a while to save money :teeth:

LOL, Sherry, sorry that two of the boys didn't care for what was made :p

Bethie, I so hate it when that happnes!!!! Glad you could stop in all the same

Cleaning day around the house (I think). Not much else going on otherwise :)

Alan, they'd kill Gators too
:worried:
Ok, so no buckeyes allowed at the game in Jan.

Alan, Gators will never know what Buckeyes taste like.
 I think they are gonna find out........... :teeth:

good morning! Meanies.............. :rotfl:

Sorry you lost your post Beth. Nice to see ya'!
Elaine: Glad Luis made it home safe and sound. Um, when you are done there how 'bout hoppin' on over to my house for a cleaning spell??!!! Can't offer morning temps any warmer but, daytime won't be too bad. LOL .
:wave2: Sherry, what did ya cook that 2 out of 4 won't eat? Any leftovers?
Suzanne: weather is a pain when it is cold in the a.m. and then warms up so much. I think our weatherman calls it a dress & peel day or something silly like that. Cool about meeting M Learned, my sis also met that real world person. Where ya' working?
Tara: congrats on the DVC thingie. Can't comment cause I know nothing about it. :confused3 It is hard to get back in the work groove when ya' come back from NeverNeverland. LOL
:wave2: Alan, Paula, Lily, Kimmar, and everybody I missed.

Jonathan stayed home today. He has a bad stomach ache. :(

Rose Mary, I made Shepherd's Pie. We do have one small tupperware of leftovers. :teeth:

Elaine, after your done with yours and RM's cleaning, you can come here and do mine, too. :bitelip: :p

That would be ME, Missy!!! :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious:

Oh and I'm gonna tattle: "Mom, Sherry sent the "s" stuff to my house!" :guilty: :cold:

Have to head out to keep Precious some more cat food before the roads get really bad - we're supposed to end up with around 10 or more inches of snow by tomorrow morning! :guilty:

WooHoo to Tara on the possible DVC.
Glad Luis is home!
Sherry - I would have had a bowl of cereal with your boys last night! :rotfl:
Paula - hope things are better for you. :grouphug:
Dang that post loss, Beth! :(
Have fun in WDW, John.
:wave2: Alan! Slow roadkill season - hope to recall you from your layoff in the very near future!

Rose Mary, you are such a trouble maker :p YOu know who will will that game ;)
I know what you mean about the weather. That sounds a lot like our fall and spring type weather. Cool in the morning and hot towards the end of the day. I would take that over this any day though!

Sherry, sorry about Jonathan's stomach ache. I will tease, was he one of the ones who refused to eat last night? ;) I love Shepherd's Pie! I might make some today :scratchin

Pam, good luck with the snow. We actually got considerably less snow than predicted. I believe the storm stayed more north than they thought as of yesterday, so you might get lucky!

Now twits, I will not be cleaning for anyone... I am lucky to do it for myself. I admit, I haven't been good about it lately :( Just lack of motivation in general at times. Since I was so tired a few months back, and now I am just not moving the way I normally do I have a LOT to do! So if y'all happen to finish before me, I could use help ;)

D'oh! :scared: Sorry Pammie, smooches! :teeth: and just for you
Be careful out there on the roads.

I'm tellin' too: MOM! Elaine called me & Sherry twits.

Sherry: Don't talk to Elaine! she's bein' mean today. :p
I love Shepherd's pie! Hope the young 'un keeps his stomach pain to his self but, that he's feeling better soon. (Did he eat the Shepherd's pie?)

Uh oh, work calls.................

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Elaine's being mean??? :confused3 You just implied that Sherry's son got sick because he ate her Shepherd's pie!! :lmao:

Elaine - I'm always on the lookout to "get lucky"! Oh - that wasn't what you meant, was it??

Rosemary, I'll take those   and raise you two more -  !!

Ha! That would NOT be me!

John, Well I did try to send prayers and PD yor way for a smooth trip and timely take-off. Hope you make it there with no difficulty.

Tara, Don't bother to tel DB. It really is none of his concern. If it ever has to be mentioned I like Elaine's ideas. Just tell him you got a good pre-pay deal.

Beth, I know it was a great ketchup. You always do real good. Sorry it got ate.

Elaine, sorry you can't come clean for any of us. Sigh, I guess I'll be stuck doing my own then.

Sherry, hope Jonathan feels better and doesn't share.

Suzanne, sounds like you're working in a pretty cool place. Hope you feel good today.

P.S.I like Shepherd's pie, remind me to put it in the category of "I'll pass thank you" along with the s'mores though. ;)

We've got the snow here. DH just called me from where he's at nearer the lake and said they don't have quite as much as he would have thought. I told him we've got it all here. Plows can't keep up just now.

Morning all. I have a sickie home with me, the big kid, but he got the kids off to school and let me sleep. Yay.

I hear all this snow talk and I think of a non dis appropriate button I had about snow and sex. :rotfl2: Liz got to hear the saying the other day and I think it shocked her to hear my bawdy side, lol.

Someone on another thread mentioned Chick Fil A and now I want some. Of course, it's too late to get what I really want from there! However, it reminded me of my experience with a big mac yesterday. I used to chow down a whole value meal, but I had to forfeit to the meal after 15 fries and half a mac. This is what happens when you don't really eat fast food anymore.

Gotta jet over to the school and bring Neil's meds. back in a bit to finish my ketchup.

Suzanne

Suzanne,
Forgot to mention earlier that I loved The Waltons. (That's what I wrote my newspaper column about this month - having a good old Walton Family Christmas!! :goodvibes )

Oh - and Lindsey (Lindsay) from Real World Seattle was one of my favorites! Janet was the other. Lindsay is so cute and was so funny on the show! :thumbsup2

Sorry that you have a sickie home, too. :guilty:

I would appreciate it because the whole pole dancing thing is just not working out.

I get paper cuts when the ladies attempt to make change, and if they pay in quarters, it just gets cold and uncomfortable.
