I didn't come back yesterday afternoon because after boy scouts the headache was making me feel really yucky so I put Jar to bed at 9 and by 915 I was in bed!

Paula...hope things get better!!!

Elaine...thanks for the info on OKW. We will have to make sure to ask for either a building with an elevator or be on the first floor. You have permission to be nosy!!

Oh and that picture of the gator and nuts (why a nut for a team ) but did anyone notice the hidden mickey's in the wacky weed???

Good morning all... got a few hours of sleep in... I wouldn't be shocked if I nap later today

Sherry, I'll make the trade. You can give Cleo her meds and I will have the boys clean my house. I can be mean if need be (but not cruel or harmful to kids)

Tara, I wasn't aware that you were staying at OKW in the future. I love that place though. If you go there with your mom with an ECV, just tell them you need it for medical reasons and they are good. Of course when I check in, they usually tell me my options for my rooms and let me go from there

And for the record y'all, those are buckeyes. That is our official state tree or something like that. It's not "wacky weed" or anything like that Though it does look similar I admit. Sadly the nut is poisonous too, but good for getting fish (toss it in the river and it kills them so you can eat them). The candy version is awesome though!

Rose Mary, Luis usually has a gym bag with at least some extra clothes in it (he works out every day) but I can't remember if he worked out in the morning or not. He usually doesn't even go far enough to worry about that sort of thing, but since he was in a holiday inn I am sure he had at least the necessities. If he had his gym bag with him, I know he had all he would need for a new day

Well Luis is up in Cleveland still... he will be home tomorrow. Just was too much work to do in one day and with him being late getting there due to weather, he had to stay. Poor thing is tired and in bed at the moment at his hotel.

He really could have stayed at our house. Honest.

His trip home today should be uneventful. What a difference a day makes. I actually made it to work in less that 20 minutes today. Not bad for a 20 mile commute. Compared to yesterday's 75 minute commute, today was a piece of cake. Luis should have no trouble getting home.

I am a bit concerned about tonight and tomorrow's weather forecast for Cleveland. We're supposed to get between 6 and 10 inches of the white stuff. And my flight for Orlando leaves around 8AM. Someone at work suggested that I spend the night at the airport. I'm sure that it will work out fine, but I would appreciate good thoughts and crossed fingers for tomorrow.

well after I make my deposit today on Saratoga and then finish with the down payment I'll be able to stay at OKW or SSR!!! I'll be a DVC'r before you know it!! hehehe

These kids are driving me nuts today!! and they have only been here for 45 minutes!!

Anyway, haven't I also heard that some people believe the buckeye (the nut, not the fanatic) to be a good luck thing and carry one around in there pocket? We were talking about it in a restaurant one time and someone listening came over and showed us one he carried with him. Actually, we were talking about these wonderful, delicious peanut butter balls a friend makes that we call buckeyes.
Sounds like Luis has it covered and that he should have a safe trip home.
We are suppose to be getting the really cold stuff this weekend.

Woo hoo and welcome home We did resale ourselves (which can be rather stressful) but love the purchase. I am a fan of OKW due to the relaxed nature of the resort and the lowest points

John, I'm sure Luis would have loved that, but the company paid for the hotel and I think it was right by where he worked. Hopefully he'll be finishing up soon. I'll give him an hour or so before I call to find out.
As for the weather... sending lots of your way... I hope the white stuff won't get in your way of traveling!

Rose Mary sneated... so what is really cold for y'all? And yes, you are right, Buckeyes are supposed to be lucky Another tradition is to keep one in your kitchen drawer (which I have in mine). Amazingly I don't have one on my keychain like many do. But we consider our Buckeye's to be lucky

Hi everyone - checking in - feeling a little better today.... I wonder if there is a limit to how many times a mom's heart can break and still feel so much love for a child??
My son is a classic case of a really good kid that is going thru a phase of making really bad impulse choices (unfortunately an impulsive choice at 17 has much worse consequences than one at 7).
The good part is that is is surrounded by parents and teachers who refuse to let these bad choices define him and can see that there is so much more to him than that - we won't give up!!

John - safe travels - we had alot of flurries yesterday but no accumulation.

Poor Tara - feeling ignored....how's the headache today??

Thanks for all the prayers and pixie dust. Did I mention that I'm flying down to Orlando on the same plane as EpcotKilterFan (Debbie) and her mom? How cool is that? And that Ray Sharpton won a free limo ride on another Disney fan website and, since he is driving to WDW, gave the limo ride to me. I must have been extra good this year. I wonder if Santa is going to bring me a 60" DLP projection TV for Christmas.
