Alan -- neighborhood web cams..... hmmmmm.... so that's how they've been busting me!

Sherry - sure, I'll adopt you! :goodvibes

Lily- congrats on the new car! Color sounds fabulous!! :cheer2:

Liz - :grouphug: sorry about Sophie. :guilty:

Paula - how does Jeffrey like his new job? Did Alyssa get back to college?

Elaine - when you are finished with your cards, come do mine! :woohoo: Actually, mine are signed and addressed and just need mailed.

Suzanne - STOP YAWNING! :cat:

Kimmar, I will return your cattle prod just as soon as I am done with it.

Pam...Jeffrey absolutely loved the new job - he says it "hanging out at a sportsman's club all day and getting paid for it". Alyssa went back to school on Saturday.

:3dglasses checking gifts on-line to see what this cyber-Monday stuff is all about.....looking for good deals on hand held GPS.

:wave2: I'm back! Trying to ketch up! Later............... :wave2:

EOIP for me today. Very busy getting ready for my trip to WDW in 10 days (thanks to a very generous wife who insisted that I go).

I just posted that my DD Sarah won one of the Year of a Million Dreams prizes today!!! I'll bet that most of you didn't even know that Sarah was in Florida. She went with a friend from high school and his mom. It was a very last minute trip that caught everyone by surprise. Anyway, she was waiting to board the Magical Express bus from the Pop Century back to the airport and she was tapped as a winner of one of the dreams. She and her party rode back to the airport in a limo, complete with a stop for ice cream along the way. I can hardly wait until I get to talk with her this evening to hear all about her magical trip.

Wow, what a great surpise on her trip! We can't wait to hear the details.

TC, that is a great thing for Sarah. I'm sure it was the most Magical thing. I love that. What fun a last minute WDW trip. Woot woot!
Alan, :lmao: I'll remember that when I'm sitting in traffic. Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving. Let the decorating begin!

Sherry, enjoy your lunch with Junior. That's great that you have lunch together. Still praying for the day shift for him.

Pam, you know that cattle prod should be worn out by now. Shame on you for telling Suzanne to stop yawning. Yawning is contagious and since you mentioned yawning, now I've got it!

Paula, I like your idea of Black Friday shopping on Cyber Monday. Hope you find good deals.

Have a great afternoon. Gotta scoot... :moped:

Went to a Chinese Buffet with Junior for lunch. Yum! Then stopped at Best Buy just to look around, stopped at the library, then to Super K for a few Christmas decorations.

Its a beautiful day here again. I wish it would last. *sigh*

Alan, glad you had a nice T-day with family.

John, how cool for Sarah. And yay for your upcoming trip!

Hi Rose Mary!

Paula, good luck looking for some Cyber Monday deals.

Crazy day here... wound up taking Cleo to the vet. We aren't sure if she just hates her food, or if she is having gall bladder troubles again (or worse). She is eating okay though now that I have her home and on the old food she used to get (before we realized we had a fatty catty at home ;))

Lily, how did everything at the vet go for y'all? I hope it won't be too bad for you and your furbaby. I known we wait until tomorrow to get the test results... though preliminary for her looked good.

Sherry, that stinks with how it works there. Is there a way he can bump someone else for the better shift?

Alan, Sweets, only Miss Pammy gets to call me that ;)

Pam, I would do your cards, but mine aren't anywhere near being done yet. I just started on them

Paula, so glad that the PT work is going well for your DH!

Howdy Rose Mary! How is everything with you?

John, I still think that is awesome what happened! I do hope that she had a great time there! Share all the details you can :)

Evening!

Sitting here vegging, but off to bed in a few. Once I'm up, I'm awake and chipper, but it doesn't mean I have to like it! However, this morning I treated myself to a yummy mocha since I got there 10 minutes early.

Alan, I'm getting some of the goodies now! :teeth: We're supposed to 'save' some of the out of season sale items in the stockroom for this huge sale. That said, I bought a really nice red chenille pillow the other night. I wanted sage green, but we didn't have them. Or so I thought, they were hiding in the stockroom for the sale-no waiting neccessary! ROTFL about 'smoking' your turkey!

Pam, I did not yawn once today. Yesterday was a different story, lol.

John, how awesome for Sarah to get that limo ride-and ice cream!

Sherry, bummer on Junior being bumped to afternoons. What time does that get him home?

Lily, I've seen that color, and it IS sweet potato...I just laugh that it's a Cobalt. Nice visual on Ted chasing the dog for a sample :lmao:

Lainey, about that nap schedule-pencil mine in for 1pm tomorrow!

So, the new king size I plan on getting with some of the tax refund? The one I'm already buying sheets for, thereby sealing the deal? I can buy it at work! :cool1: I didn't even know *we* sold beds. Woohoo, discount on my bed!

Paula :wave2:

Liz-Churchill? Neville? Nickelby? Dickens? Thames? Still think the little guy needs a british name. :teeth:

Did not find one thing worthy of purchase on Cyber Monday!

Suzanne

Just a quick Hi before I turn in....

No cyber Monday bargains for me either....

Took Casey to the vets for her Lyme retest. All seems to be well for now. But I have to tell you that I saw the funniest sight - sitting there waiting - this lady walks in with a very tiny Yorkie - and - the Yorkie was wearing a pilgrim costume - tall hat and all....I laughed so hard - Casey was totally confused!! And to top things off the dogs name was Bartholomew - that made me laugh even more...

John - :thumbsup2 I read your post about Sarah - how wonderful - can't wait for details!

Elaine - I do hope Cleo's results are good. :grouphug:

Suzanne... :teeth: already bitten by the dreaded Employee Discount bug....been there......former Waldenbooks employee here.....

Sherry - yummy on the Chinese lunch!!

Hi to Alan, Lily, Rosemary, Pam.....and all....

Kitty looks like she's ready to snuggle so I'm off to bed.
Nite all.....

That will NOT be me!! I promise :lmao: We paid for our puppy tonight and he is coming home tomorrow :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Just want to make sure he is over his cold. I am getting quite excited.

Funny story here....Greg's brother took his girls to see the puppy while we were out to eat. They promptly named him Snickers. They called Uncle Greg to tell them they had a name for the puppy. Greg HATES the name by the way...and Greg told them he really didn't like the name. So, after we ate dinner and ran some errands, we ran to the pet store to see the puppy. It turns out that Greg's brother bought the puppy a collar and a name tag with his name on it...Snickers :lmao: :lmao: I guess that is going to have to be his middle name....I think we are leaning toward Cooper. Cooper Snickers, that is :rotfl: Well, maybe Bartholomew now too :rotfl:

I talked with Amanda and Todd today....they were at AKL playing in the boneyard. Sounds like a good time is being had by all!!

Paula, too bad about the no Cyber Monday bargins. Hope you had fun "window shopping " none the less!

Suzanne, I am right there with you on the Dickens thing....but Greg says a big fat NO! He is such a fuddy duddy with this whole name thing. I thought that would be such a cute Christmasy name too :sad2: Go to bed now...you have to get up very early!!

Lainey, :grouphug: for you with Cleo. Not fun to not know what is going on. I do hope the test come back fine and she just hates her food. I will keep you in my thoughts!

Sherri, your lunch sounds yummy! It has been SO nice here too. This weekend though they are talking about the "S" word..... :furious: I want it to stay like this for a while longer too....like say until April or May?

Lily, How is your little girlie doing? Hope all is well and she is on the road to recovery. And hope your wallet didn't feel much pain either. I think we need a pic of your Sweet Potato...with or with out the traffic yam....Alan that was SOOOOO bad :rotfl:

John, how fun for Sarah! You are going to have to come back and share the details.....we need the long version...but the Cliff Notes version was a great start :teeth:

Hi RM  Are you kechuped yet? How are things in your corner of teh world? Hope all is well.

Kimmar, methinks you are NEVER getting back that cattle prod. I just have this *funny* feeling about that. BTW...loved the picks of your bathroom. I just found my camera cord...now to find my camera, and then I should be able to post a few pics. We are getting our drapes installed on Wednesday too...so I think I will have some pics to share as well.

Pammy, thanks for the hugs! How are things with you? What ya going going on with this prime roadkill season...and how is Rodney doing these days? I think we need a pic :lmao:

Alan, glad to hear you had a good Thanksgiving....how did your double date go last week....sorry if I missed the details.

Well, I think that does it for me. I think Amanda gave me her cold and laryngitis. She swears she didn't though...so I am going to hit the hay. Got a few things that I need to get done pretty early in the morning, and then off to get the puppy. I just can't wait!

Nighty night!!

Morning!!

Nephew is back today. I enjoyed the small break. :teeth:

Suzanne, Junior now works 5-1:30 a.m. :rolleyes1 If they work 10 hours, then he gets off at 3:30. Yay for a discount on the bed.

Elaine, hope Cleo's test results come back fine. If there is someone on days with less seniority, then Junior could bump back, but it isn't very likely.

Liz, great ketchup! :worship: Snickers, huh? :lmao: I wish our weather would stay, too. They are talking about the "S" word for the weekend. :rolleyes1

Glad to hear Todd & Amanda are having fun in the sun.

Paula, had to :lmao: at that story of the dog in the pilgrim costume. I bet that was a sight. :teeth:

OK, gotta get these boys up and moving!!

Morning all!

I turned off my main computer last night as soon as I got back from knitting and went to work on Christmas cards.... of course I get side tracked and post, and in the end I got nothing done :p I'm going to work on those and laundry today.

Now about this nap thing... if I find time to do that, I'll take orders. I haven't had time to nap during the day for weeks now... though I swear it sounds really good to me too ;)

Suzanne, woo hoo on getting a good discount on your bed! I didn't realize your store sold them either :teeth:

Paula, glad that all went well at the vet. I would have laughed so hard if I saw that Yorkie as well!!!

Liz, I hope you enjoy the new puppy! Colds are rather common in areas like that for dogs, and usually not a huge deal... though I would imagine it would be easier not to start off with a dog having to give them meds ;)
Snickers is such a cute name though!!!!! Tell Greg to hush it :p

Sherry, yuck on that schedule!!! I wouldn't like that one at all, so I do hope that someone in days will wind up getting bumped by him or something.

I should get moving... hope you all have a great day!

:moped: :3dglasses :moped:

Good morning all....

I'm off to the eye doctors.

Hugs all around - I'll ketchup later.

Morning

Off to run some errands and then to go and pick up the :dog2: I am pretty excited!! I asked Greg what I should call him when I get him...well he said I should call him .....Puppy! :lmao: I guess that means we haven't figured out his name yet. When I get home and find my camera...I will post some pictures.

It is starting to get cold here....not looking forward to the "S" word we are supposed to get this weekend. Blech!

Anyway, just a quick  and good morning!!

Have a great day everyone...

:dogdance: :dogdance: :dogdance: :dogdance: :dogdance:

Morning Ya Yas!

Sherry, it sounds like you had a magnificent day yesterday.

Elaine, me, me, me first. I get first nap! I hope Cleo is ok. Good luck with it all. If she's got her nose out of joint over the food that can be a major challenge.

Suzanne, good go on the shopping deals there. I like that...once you're up you may as well be chipper about it! Good for you.

Paula, glad Casey is good to go now. Cute story about the Pilgrim puppy!

Liz, hope you feel better today, and "Puppy" too! Thanks for letting us know Todd and Amanda are enjoying their trip. Uh oh on the collar. No pressure there huh. Once you get the little guy home I'm sure he'll find his name. (I still like Chip best.)

Paula, are you picking out new glasses?

The Sweet Potato is in her parking spot here at work. Maiden voyage a success!

Missy and her vet story: The vet is happy with her weight--10.5 pounds so that was good news. No bladder infection, seems to be either a bug bite or pimple that may need to be lanced. Ted was instructed to apply warm compresses to the area and see if that would help. So after we get home late last night, he gets the wash cloth warmed and holds her while she "sits" on the cloth for 2 treatments, then it was bed time. I did the same this morning. It must feel good for her since she didn't complain a bit while I was holding her with the compress. I'll call the vet later to see what is the next step. Meanwhile, Ted leaves with a $175 bill to pay; (it did include 6 months of heartworm meds, but ouch!).

Good morning y'all!

Liz, I'm sure that "Snickers" is still cute as the Dickens, regardless.

Lainey, I'm glad that Queen Cleo is doing better and hope it continues. Maybe she's just mad that she didn't get any turkey.

 That's a little personal don't you think?
Oh wait..that was the "other" thread. Never mind :teeth:

Good luck at the eye doc, Paula1

Ouch at vet bills, but what are ya gonna do? Pilot is there today for her annual exam, shots, and having her hair done. ;)

Good Morning errr afternoon???? Oh whatever! :confused3

Ketch-upped? I'm not sure. Read everything, LOL!
Liz-Hope you are having fun w/the new pup! So sorry to hear all you went thru.

Sherry- I think it's time for a Cheetoh patrol  We haven't done that in a while. What are your boys asking for this holiday? I know what mine wants/isn't getting. LOL

Welcome home Elaine! Always great to be back in your own bed!!!! Hope all is well w/Cleo.

Lily-I wanna see sweet potato! :teeth: Still have a pic in my head of Ted running after Casey....... :happytv:

Hi Paula, :wave2: Kinda have the same problemo w/my DS going on here. First 9 wks he had A/B's / 2 C's. Now mid term F in math :confused3 WTH?
Had to keep his grades up for football and now that football is over guess he figures he can slack. don't have a car to take away yet so will have to work on some other plan. Mine's also a smart kid but, he is not going to put any more effort into grades/studying than needed.

Lets see Tara & gang are WDW w/Todd & gang.

:wave2: Alan, stay out of trouble. :teeth:
Pam, please, no mention of car trouble ok? :furious: Mine started making that stupid noise again on the way out of town. they should have one of these : :badpc: only w/a car. I just turned up the radio :rolleyes1
:wave2: Kimmar, keep forgetting to check out your pics when I get home.
Can't see the pics you guys post when I am here at work, bummer. SO, how was that cranberry sauce :duck:

Enough for now. Back later to share my T'giving experiences.

Alan, you are SOOOOO bad! That is why we  you!! Thanks for the MANY laughs.

Nice catch up RM...good luck with the car thing. Mine has made a noise since the day we bought it...and it is still, oh never mind, why mess with something that is working.

Lily, sorry about the wallet. Greg was laughing when we were visiting the puppy last night. Some guy was talking about how expensive the puppies were. Greg got the biggest kick out of that and told that guy buying them is the cheapest part of the whole deal :lmao: Sadly, I think he is right.

Off to find that camera!!

Well the little guy is home and napping...so far we played, pottied ( in the house) and got all tuckered out and decided a nap was in order. :tiptoe:

I am off to find my camera so when the boy gets up...I can take a few pics for you all to see!!

Afternoon y'all! Been trying my best to get these cards done today. So far I have about 2/3 of them finished, I think... just shy of 30 more to go :faint:

Paula, can ya see yet? :p I hope all went well at the eye doctors :)

Liz, I do hope you are having a great time with the new pup. We have that S word on the forecast here as well

Lily, I think my first opening for a nap will not be until late December. Will that work for you? :p Sorry about the vet bill... ours was just about that as well. Which will lead me to this...

vet called and all is fine with Cleo physically. She is a snot and must have gotten her tail in a bunch about something and decided she didn't want to eat as much. I will just keep an eye on her and do my best to fatten little one up. Other than the weight loss, we can't find a thing wrong with her. Love her to death though :)

Good point, Alan! Queen of the castle didn't get a single bite of turkey this year :(

Great ketchup there Rose Mary! I am sorry about the car and the kid problems. No real advice on either, but I am laughing at the radio solution... we used to do that with a few things on older cars as well :rolleyes1

Back to the Christmas cards for me ::yes::
