Good Morning

Elaine, I am sorry that you have a sad tummy this morning. I hope as the day goes on that you feel better.

Cheddar Cheese Soup.......I love it. I even made it for our Annual Family Chili/Soup Cook Off. I got first place in the Soup category. We had 5 soups and 15 chilis.

Hi Beth, I am sorry that you have come home and can't get rested up. Some day I am going to hear you with those bells.

Well, we sat home last night with DD and watched Cars . It was very cute. Today will be spent driving her back to college. The round trip takes 4 hours and of course I need a rest to walk around with my blood clots so basically my day will be busy. I hope everyone has a great Sunday :Pinkbounc

:moped:  :moped:

It has been a crazy weekend....we just really don't want to sit home in this very quiet house.....so we are off to do something away form home again for the day.

Yesterday was shopping and Cheeseburger in Paradise...today I think Chicago.

Hugs to all and more later :moped:  :moped:

Liz, I totally understand your feeling about the quiet house.

With all this hamburger talk lately, I forgot about Cheeseburger in Paradise. Now, they have a great hamburger....Hey Lainey, there is a Cheeseburger in Paradise just 2 hours away from you :drive: ......maybe even very close to where I live ;) .....maybe Todd, Amanda and the girls would drive over the river to meet us there sometime. :moped: Oh yes, I forgot to send this pixiedust: for Elaines tummy.

Have fun in Chicago Liz. :flower1:

Betty, you have me laughing, we actaully have two Cheeseburger In Paradises near us. Both w/in about 15-20 mins away ;) I could go down that way for it though. Maybe some Saturday in December could work. We are booked up until after Thanksgiving now :)

I should have said my tummy wasn't happy yesterday but wasn't bad today. The headache I had from the onions was pretty bad though. Usually I get both very bad, but I think I avoided enough onions to be stuck with just a headache. I wished they had put that info in with the meatloaf... I've never had meatloaf with that much onion in it before! One of those bad things to be kind of allergic too... people always forget to mention onion in foods and I wind up hurting in the end. Peppers can be the same way for me as well... *sigh*

Liz, I can understand not wanting to be home in a quiet house. I hope you had fun in Chicago!

Well, part of our front yard is torn up... when we got back from FL, we had a water main break near our house... so they finally fixed it. From what I understand, we had a sudden freeze here that might have cause it. Hopefully they will fill our hole up soon and now we won't have water flowing down our street.

Had a fun day yesterday. Did get to watch a little of the game. And BIL kept sneaking to his car to keep us up on the score. :teeth:
Today was church, then we stopped at Sam's Club and had lunch there, then shopped.

Elaine, sorry your tummy was upset. My tummy doesn't like onions either.

Liz, have fun in Chicago.

Cheeseburger in Paradise. Yet another place I've never heard of. I don't think we have any near us.

Good sports weekend here. OSU won, Cavs won (awesome game!), and now the Browns just won!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

 Haven't done a darn thing here today. All you that are out being productive make me feel like a slug!

Liz...I think getting out is a good idea. to you!!!

Elaine...sorry your tummy was icky yesterday. Glad you feel better!!

Betty...glad DD is better. Be careful driving her there and back (well lookiing t the clock you were probably already there and back  so hope it went well!!)

Sherry...glad your teams did well today! (Not sure of the sports they are but hey if htey win, then that's all that matters!)

Beth...soudns like a busy time. So are we planned for march yet?

Okay, gonna go back to my stitching and watching tv.

hugs to all!
tara

Yikes! Page 4!

Good Morning!!

Junior is off work again today. They usually get Veteran's Day off. Lucky him. :teeth:

Tara, :lmao: Yeah, winning is all that matters. ;) FWIW, it was football and basketball. ;)

Mad love to all!!

Elaine...I was fighting headaches going into migraines yesterday. For me I think it was the cold, damp weather.

Betty...Hope your travel taking DD back went well.

Todd and I did a bit of Christmas shopping online for the girls. We go Saturday evening to do more shopping.

Sherry...Enjoy your day with Junior. Hopefully no nephew today.

Tara...We all need days were we do nothing. :goodvibes

Tonight is a busy night. We are in Revival through Wednesday. I am going to go to aqua aerobics early, then off to Dad's to complete a few things for him, then church. Tomorrow is basically the same thing, but weights instead of aerobics. Looking forward to Thursday when I can stay home and get some house cleaning done before the holidays.

Terrific Monday everyone!

Good Morning! :sunny:

Had a very nice weekend running around all over the place. We were gone almost all day Saturday and Sunday....in the evening we came home and tried to amke our house look more like a home....we hung lots of pictures, rearranged furniture and stuff like that. Little by little things are getting done here, but we still have a long way to go.

Chicago was nice, went to our favorite hot dog place and had a hot dog, walked around for a bit and went home :rotfl: Yeah we are exciting aren't we. But most of our friends think that we are nuts because we will go to Chicago JUST for a hotdog. But what a hotdog it was!!! Cheeseburger in Paradise is also about an hour away...won't tell anybody we would go that far just for a cheeseburger either :lmao: Actually, we went to the Great Indoors with that trip in mind..CIP was just an afterthought...and a darn good one I might add. I had a BBQ Cheesebrger....YUMMY! Greg had a salad of some sort that was very yummy too...and if you have never had their signature drink..CHeeseburger in Paradice, I highly reccomend it. OMG...so good...and really quite reasonable if you ask me. And they are garnished oh so cute!! So, that was my weekend...all about the food :rotfl2:

Sherry...glad to heara Junior has a day off...any big plans for the day...or it today that 40 minute day? :lmao:

Hey Tara! So what are you stiching now? Do tell...you know we all want to know. Cross stich has never been something I could do well...and NEVER look at the back of anything I have done...heck, you might not want to look at the front either!

Elaine, hope they fix your water issue...and your yard~ Hope it doesn't get too cold there too...or you might be able to go skating. Hope the tummy is feeling better...Meatloaf souds like somehting I just might have to make for dinner tonight...Yummy.

Hey Betty  How was your road trip? Hope you were able to have some fun with your daughter....is this the ame one that was sick? Hope she is feeling better too! Any big plans for the day? I will be getting some work done from last week that I did not get done....I am going to try to cram 20 ours worth into 8...I will let you know how that goes. Somehow the DIS always gets the best of me :guilty:

Hey Bethie~ Sounds like you had a very fun weekend. I gues you spent the better portion of it with LOTS of ding a lings, huh? :lmao: Sorry, I just could not help myself! How did the pork roast turn out?

Amanda, how was your weekned? I bet it was nice to get out of church a little early huh? Let me know how it goes on getting HSM tickets....hope you are able to get right in and get them. Chicago sold out mainly during the presale....hope you ahve better luck than I did.

Hey Todd!! Well I have finally done it... I have attracted not only birds, but squirrels to my feeder :furious: They make me so mad....but I do get a good chuckle when they fall off the feeder though. For Christmas, I am asking for a squirrel proof feeder. I just really don't like that squirrel! Good luck with your Christmas list as well ;)

Hi Pammy, Alan, Rose Mary, Paula. Lily and anyone else I may not have mentioned~ It is early here and I am not quite yet up and thinking.....

Oh and for what it is worth...I am thinking about doing a girls weekend in Chicago the firsst weekend in May. Anybody that would like to come is welcome and can stay here. I live about an hour away from the city and think some day trips to the city would be great fun. If anybody is interested, do let me know.......

Off to get some work done. Have a great day, one and all

Morning all! Just wasn't in a posting mood after I got back from church last night.

Sherry, you should come to Columbus and we'll get Sketti to join us and we can all have Cheeseburger in Paradise ;) I've honestly never been to one though. I did go to the Margaritaville place at Universal when I was there in Feb. Not sure if they are much the same, but I actually had the Cheeseburger in Paradise when I was there.
I'm shocked Junior is off today... all the state institutions had Friday off for Vets Day.

Tara, never worry, I am a slug most of the time. If you ever feel bad, just ask me what I've been up to ;)

Amanda, sorry you were dealing with headaches as well. I know mine was probably made worse by the weather too, but at least today is supposed to be much nicer!
Good luck with your busy week

Liz, sounds like a nice weekend. Where do you go for hotdogs though? Oh the water issue isn't a huge deal... it's technically not our yard they dug up, and they did need to get it fixed since it would have iced over again. As for the yard, it is what the city owns, but we are responsible for keeping up... that part of the edge right by the street. So we have no say in what they do to it, but I still look at it as our yard.

Yuck... McD's ketchup! That stuff is nasty! Give me the good ol' Heinz 57 variety please ;)

Pam - OMG....my Pammy.......come here my high stepping, boot kicking buddy.....should we dance/march in the Veteran's Day Parade this year? Wonder what kind of costumes Beth can come up with this time. I really didn't like the pointed bras with tassles that we wore last year? One of my tassles was bigger than the other and well, it just didn't look right.

Yeah, but it was impressive when you made them spin opposite directions.

And now, good morning y'all! :wave2:

The girls enjoyed the Veteran's Day program and field day.
We visited with friends Saturday and watched as all the teams we like lost their football games.
Christmas shoeboxes were turned in yesterday, and I pick up Christmas cards today.

I normally do not send them out until mid-December so let's see if I get better about it.

Betty, do I have this right... is today really your birthday? :)

Okay since I doubt Betty is in today... and why should she come in for much...

Happy 50th Birthday Betty!!!
You don't look a day over 25 :teeth:

Good morning,

I've made it through the morning without being fired so I think its been a good day!! :rotfl:

I'll join the headache patrol...my head is tryiing to hurt but I keep taking drugs to make them go away. I think it is the weather here too. Rainy and yucky!!

Liz...I'm still working on Ethan's Christmas stocking. I hope to have it finished by Christmas eve!! hehehe

alan...glad Veteran's day was good for you and your girls.

Betty...happy birthday!!

Liz...sounds like a good day! I don't do hot dogs...but sounds like a good day nonetheless.

Elaine...glad you feel better!! I love your ticker! :lmao:

Amanda...I have 10 days...you have 11!! :woohoo: Hope you get some rest!!

I turned thiings around last night...i didn't get back on the puter but I did vacum the house yesterday. Moved furniture and did a good job. I still have the upstairs to do, but the den, office, kitchen, and dining room are done.

Gonna go work for a bit!! I'll be back later!!

...actually, she doesn't look a day over '50'.....

Explain to me why an ins co would pay for me to see an allergist, pay for the vials and pay for the allergist office to give me the first shot....but won't pay for a new syringe prescription. I have spent all day arguing this. The issue is that they won't cover it from a pharmacist but will cover it through medical is a device. The next issue is that all the suppliers they gave me do not carry the type I need. Now my Dr has to submit a letter of necessity and it has to go before a review, which can take 30 days. If it isn't necessary then why pay for the actual medicine. UGH! I can pay for the syringes at $20, but now it is the principle of the matter. They should only cost me $2.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETTY....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tara and Suzanne....we still need to exchange information so we can meet up.

Count me in as another who has never been to Cheeseburger in Paradise. Todd would enjoy it. Looks like Elaine needs to organize a meet. :cheer2:

Alan...our youth wrapped the churches boxes on Saturday. A lot less this year compared to last. Now I need to load them and deliver them to the drop off spot, although I am asking Todd to do the delivering. Christmas cards will be after our trip. Hoping to get an awesome picture for them.

Talk later!

Well, let's see...

We've already decided you were getting (or using ;) ) the cheerleader outfit, so if Todd is the gift deliverer....

Maybe THIS could be your Christmas card

Just lose the midlife crisis message and add the girls :teeth:

Alan...Todd sure did pick up some weight, and I lost some. Looks like I got younger also :rotfl:
