Morning all! I'll be quiet since I would guess most of y'all are sleeping ;)

Suzanne, I hope you have fun at BG today! And I am so glad to hear that she doesn't have a broken hip, but boo on the arms. I'll keep thinking good thoughts for her ::yes::

Today is church day. Though I am very tired and will probably need a nap. I need to tell Luis that I can't stay up until 1 am watching football anymore

Morning!

Never made it on the DIS yesterday. Stayed home and caught up on DVR stuff, then the inlaws came over and we watched the Bucks game. :bounce:
Today is church, then we are going bowling afterwards. DH's job has Family Fun Days and we get 2 free games, free shoe rental, and a free beverage.

Paula, hope you can settle out of court. Good luck to Chris.

Elaine, hope the reunion was fun. Yes, my hair is darker. It is chocolate brown with the chunky blonde highlights. :)

Suzanne, enjoy BG! Glad that the lady didn't break her hip. Wishing her a speedy recovery.

Sherry, pretty good game last night, eh? I didn't get to watch all of it, but I got to see quite a bit of it. They had three TVs in there... one of which was aobut 50". Then when we went to the bar afterwards, we got to see more. I did miss the last TD though. Saw some of the crappy calls the officials made too

It seems I forgot to say how the reunion went :rotfl: I'm sorry, I'm a bit tired today :p It was fun. Marc really needed the support and I was glad to be there. He was kind of awkward in HS and he was too scared to tell anyone he was gay. He had some really snitty people in his class though. One of them I had the pleasure of meeting in the past. She was a real witch. She swore I was going after her b/f who I was friends with in college (I was a year ahead of Marc). She saw me last night and asked someone if we were together in a nasty *** tone. I can't believe she would even remember me since I didn't go to her school

anywho, I got to see a couple other people that I knew through Marc, and I even ran into an old co-worker there. I didn't realize she had gone to the same school and grade as Marc was :teeth:

So it was good over all. And now I think it is nap time!

hi gang,

home now. yep forgot stuff. had a good time. will give the details tomorrow!!

hugs to all,
tara

Howdy!

Great day. We met up with a fellow DISer, BobD27 and his son and went over to BG. The weather was perfect, it wasn't crowded and I had a coaster buddy :cool1: . We got SOAKED on the rapids ride, me more than anyone else, and mostly due to Bob (who sat the ride out) putting a quarter in one of those water cannons and aiming it at us in the boat. He's a good shot!

Went to get hot dogs at this place on the corner of the property, Mel's, but they're closed on Sunday. I couldn't think of anything else, so to Fridays we went.

Great day all around - the kids get along, the company was fun, too. Looking forward to when they're here in FL full time in a few years.

In a strange twist in events, Neil was the model child and Kevin the holy terror.. I'll never figure them out...

Lainey, you'd think after 10 years, she'd lose the snitty attitude. It was good of you to be there for support for him.

Sherry, was bowling fun? Do your kids enjoy it?

Tara, do you have tomorrow off for Yom Kippur or are you dragging your tired butt to school?

I think tomorrow is cleaning day...

Suzanne

Morning y'all! I came back from church last night very tired, so I just went to bed!

Tara, I cannot wait to hear more about your trip. I hope anything forgotten wasn't that big of a deal ;)

Suzanne, sounds like y'all had a great time! I am lauging at what Bob did to y'all :p

Today is cleaning day as well for me. Nothing terribly exciting here :)

Morning all--I have a whole 3 minutes before I have to leave, so thought I'd give 'em to my Ya Ya family! We have our big Holiday Open House coming up next weekend at the store, so I've been busy crafting some of the samples for the special classes we are going to be offering. The "Vienna Houses" are beautiful, but the bird on the tip-top of the Christmas trees is really dorky. A star would have been easier and prettier, if you ask me. Our district manager is coming to visit this coming Friday, too, so we have to have the store looking pristine and beautiful. We have a good team of employees, now, and most everybody is pitching in quite nicely. Got to teach my Disney Scrapbook in a Day class last Sunday, too, and that was so much fun! I'm looking forward to teaching the Haunted House class next weekend and hoping to do some of the Christmas cards, too.

Tara, sorry you forgot stuff, but hope it wasn't too terribly important. glad you had a chance to get away!

Lainey, nice that you could accompany Marc. Too bad the little witch never bothered to grow up with the rest of you.

Sherry, nice that the whole family could enjoy the bowling! Glad to hear Julian is settling in better.

Paula, I wanna see the kitty too! Clever name and so happy to hear she and Casey get along.

Suzanne, nice job getting a family day and friends in town, to boot! Sounds like BG was great fun despite the "holy terror" switch.

Gotta jet!! Mad love all around and :grouphug:

Morning!

Tara, can't wait to hear about the trip.

Suzanne, sounds like a fun day. :) Yes, we had fun at bowling. I'm a horrible bowler, though. :rolleyes1 The boys love bowling.

Elaine, boo hiss on the snitty attitude. Glad you had a good time, though. Game was great. Yesterday's Browns game was awesome, too!! A good weekend for Ohio football. :yay:

Need to call the dr. when they open. I think Julian has a spider bite on the back of his leg. :( Want to go get it checked to make sure.

Boss is out this week...so I can play a bit.

Sherry...great to see a picture of you and Junior. I keep thinking of putting highlights in my hair, but hate the cost and refuse to do it myself.

Suzanne...nice you were able to meet up with a fellow diser.

Tara...hope your days this week are better than last. Glad you had a good weekend.

We spent the weekend furniture shopping. It gets delivered 2 wks from tomorrow. It will be nice to actually have furniture on the first floor. The girls and I will be fighting over the chaise lounger :goodvibes

Alan...I missed it, where was your relaxing picture taken?

Have a wonderful week everyone!

Sherry, they ran a segment today about the last drive-in closing in Cleveland. I thought of you enjoying the drive-in with your family. I often took my boys to the AutoRama too. Good fun, and I’m glad we would go. Thanks for posting up the party pic. You look be-u-ti-ful! Hope Julian is ok.

Tara, hope you enjoyed your after school night and the weekend trip.

John, I’m interested in the clip if you get it posted. I enjoyed it in it’s original “poor quality” version!

Paula, can't wait to see pics of Harley. Today’s the day! Hope things work out with the settlement. Yes, it is difficult to let our babies grow up. Actually this weekend DS#2 came to me and said; “Mom, I get it.” It is nice when they do even if they don’t say it. It was nice to hear it though.

Elaine, I just know you enjoyed Third Day. It’s good that you were there for Marc and that you enjoyed “the show.”

Alan. Nice pic, more please.

Suzanne, sad about the car accident. It is a reminder how fragile we are. Hope you enjoyed your family day.

Beth, you are such a sweetie to share you 3 minutes with us Ya Yas! Sounds like work is shaping up nicely and that ‘s a good thing to have a good team in place for everyone.

Amanda! Hi there! Furniture fights, nope! It’s Mom’s choice. They get the floor.

Kimmar!

It was a good weekend here. Busy, but good. We had neighbor’s clambake and really enjoyed the time. Was late day for all of us. Then middle of the night DH gets called to go in—disrupted sleep—hmpf! Yesterday DH and I got to spend tome together, between the phone calls he had from work, at least he didn’t have to go in. Pretty soon vacation for us. No phone calls for him then!

Here she is............

She is just so cute and playful!! Jeffrey is still "punishing me" - barely acknowledges her and will only call her "cat"..,,,,,,he'll get over it....yesterday she kept jumping up in his lap - hahahahaha.

I just wanted to post the pic - gotta get some stuff done......more later....

Noooooo!!!!!! They can't close the Autorama. I lived less that half a mile from there when it was built. My parents took us there often to see movies. I have vivid memories of all the good times we had as a family at that place. It's a shame that the drive-ins are all going away.

I might have mentioned this before, but the clip on the website is slightly better than the original one that I posted. At least the sound is better. It's twice the size of the original, so the video quality is improved as well. The DVD quality version is HUGE (over 300Mbytes).

You and Ted should drop by sometime when you're out and about the east side of town. Now that peddler is over, we're homebodys again.

Paula, She is such a cutie! Ahhh, he'll get over it. If not, cats are independent--she'll just turn up her cute little nose and sashay past him over to you! Really, she is so cute she might just break down that man-thing he has going and get into his heart.

No, not the Autorama yet! I'm sorry--the last one in Cleveland had its show over the weekend at the Memphis.

Thanks for clearing that up. I see that Aut-O-Rama will be showing their last movie for the season this weekend. Perhaps I should pack up the family and head for North Ridgeville.

Hi y'all! Been doing a bunch of nothing this morning :teeth: Cleo is resting gently on my lap at the moment!

Bethie, good luck with work coming up! I sure wish I lived closer so that I could see all your had work in person. I think we are planning on making it out over Thanksgiving weekend though. She says I *think* ;)

Poor Julian :( Is he at home today then? Spider bites can be nasty things. Oh and yes, GREAT weekens for Ohio football! I was very pleased. Especially with the quality of playing in general.

Lily, glad you had a good weekend. I am just sorry that it was interrupted so much. I think you two totally deserve that vacation though so you can just enjoy each other w/o anyone getting in the way!

Amanda, I hope you enjoy the week with the boss out. It's always nice to have play time!

Howdy Kimmar!

Awwww... Paula, she is soooooo cute! I love her to death! He will definitely warm up there... how could you not love a face like that?
And I am so laughing at her jumping on him. They sure know better ;)

John, I'll have to go check out that other clip then. I had to watch it on my little laptop, but it stil came out okay.

I need to start laundry :wave2:

Hi y'all, I'm popping in to say hello. I'll have to ketchup tomorrow, but I do see a precious kitty pic, so I'm anxious to read about that.

Gotta scoot though, so see y'all tomorrow.
