Elaine, Cleveland isn't fun? Hmmph! Have fun painting. I wouldn't call trying on contacts fun, though. I need to get new ones soon. I'm on my last pair. I can't wear them as much as I used to, though.

TC, thanks for offering. I definitely would have taken that offer. I've just volunteered for duty on the 2nd for our Relay for Life fundraiser. It would have been a fun drive; better than going it alone. Yankee Peddler is up soon; is everyone in your family participating again this year?

Last couple of work days have been lonely again. Boss is sick. DS#2 picked up another PT job and starts with FexEx Monday eve. He's going to college then, make the donuts then, FedEx and then, somewhere fit in HOMEWORK. Whew! His course load this semester is not grinding he says and he thinks he will be good to go.

Most everyone is participating. DS James will be back in school. He is trying to convince his roommate to drive him to the festival one weekend so that he can say "hi" to everyone. He was willing to work, but we would rather that he spend his weekends doing homework. Yankee Peddler would leave him zero time to do assignments. DD Sarah will only be working Sundays as marching band more than likely has competitions on most every Saturday in September.

Since y'all can't make it to Indy, perhaps you can make it to Clay's Park. I know that NancyIL is trying to drum up a DISmeet. We did that a few years ago when figmentvi was visiting NE Ohio from St. Croix. Although I doubt that we'll have the Caribbean connection this year, it would be great to see some (or all) of you at YPF. Who knows. I might even let you ring my bell.
