Hi folks! Just back from bookkeeping--enjoyed sleeping in this morning and will again tomorrow before I work the late shift at the store. Been enoying the beautiful weather the last couple of days, too, since the humidity went down a bit.
TC, really enjoyed those pix from your youth. Reminded me of some of mine, so I finally got up the energy to search 'em out.
kimmar, so kind of you to offer to bathe those filthy creatures!!

Loved the video and can't wait to see the "production" in person.
OUCH!! Sherry, so sorry to hear about your fall!! Hope your head is feeling better now too. Getting back to the old routine, now, huh? So how did everybody's first day back go? And were you able to sneak in a little nap before they all got home?
Oh, Tara!! Not you, too? I think you've had more than your share of injuries this summer! Sounds like you just might be safer back at school! Hope you are feeling better and are able to get everything sorted out with the boxes, stuff, and storage. You are working a new position, this year, aren't you? Getting excited about it??
Elaine, what a PITA of a way to find out about Luis' GM! I'm so sorry you both have to deal with family like that.

Glad it worked out that you can go back to the cheaper contacts, too. Any savings is good--especially with a WDW trip coming soon!!
Hey, Suzanne!

Booked my next session and ordered 2 of both the berry cobbler and the pretzel crusted chicken.

Please tell me that the beef filets in mushroom roquefort sauce is good, cuz I ordered 2 of those, too! We ran out of the prepared stuff in the freezer and Dave was complaining there was nothing in the house to eat!! LOL!! Methinks he's forgotten how to cook already, cuz there's stuff in the freezer, it's just not in little foil pans with directions on top!!
Alan, it's good to hear that Mickey has been accepted by the 4-legged members of the family. And to echo one of the other sistahs--how are the girls liking their new school?
Whew!! I was afraid you got buried when the boss came back, Lily! Glad you were able to get a day off, even if it was to babysit the repair work. Hope the meds get worked out and you get some relief there. Nice to have breakfast with Mom--where did you go? (I've been hung up on IHOP and their stuffed french toast, lately

)And good for you starting to melt those pounds!!
The 12-year old nephew of our pastor could use some prayers, if ya'll could find a minute. He and his family have been visiting from Florida and he had a terrible accident over the weekend. Out on his rollerblades, decided it would be cool to skate down a rather steep driveway--picked up so much speed, he couldn't stop, literally "flew" across a street and plowed smack into the front of a house. Shattered his femur in 7 places and spent most of Sat. night in surgery. Got an update last night and they still don't know yet if he's damaged the growth plates, but the poor kid is in terrible pain and screams every time they try to even help him sit up. He won't let his mother leave him, either, so she's been at the hospital round the clock since Saturday. He won't be allowed to go home until he can use a wheelchair and even then, he will be out of school for a minimum of 3 months.
Looks like it's about time to change the laundry loads and get dinner started. Hope everyone has a great evening! Mad, mad love and
