Beth... I guess I only have a few more months of being trustworthy. Now Luis, on the other hand, has well over a year!!!!!

I was on Disneystore.com and I noticed they had the Narnia ice queen as a costume. Let me tell you how tempting that one is!!!

...my trip was Awesome...hardly rained at all....not too crowded in the parks....great food.....wonderful 'down time' at the AKL pool.....all, in all, pretty great vaca.... !

I'm here today! Been playing on line and then playing with Ethan. I don't think i'm going to make it to school today to work. oh well. I'll be there plenty next week.

Jay is bringing Jarrod home today instead of tomorrow (he needs a day and a half to do his laundry and to clean up the house after he and Jarrod were there...um...their house is such a mess anyway i can't beleive they would even notice that jarrod was there!) I don't want to hear Jay whine about not getting to spend enough time with Jarrod when he can't get home since he gives up so much time with him when he IS here!

Anyway, gotta run!!

Okay, I have the worst urge to be a smart *** out on the cb so I'll do it here where I won't get in trouble. Reading thread titles I have the urge to answer this way:

"William Shatner Roast" ...hmm never had that kind of roast? where does it come from...butt, shoulder, What do you serve with it? A nice chardonay or does it go best with an ice cold beer??

"Join me in being a heretic!...." I'm up for heresey but who are they and why have they been elevated to religious status?? I'd much rather go to hell for more fun things!

"Fruit Flies any good tips"...um does it go well with a william shatner roast? Have you tried looking in the dinner plan of the day thread? Maybe you could make a nice compote and serve it up over ice cream as a desert.

Got my car back, they fixed it in 20 minutes. However, now it positively REEKS of gasoline. Had to wonder why my service guy gave it back to me with the AC going full blast and the windows down!

Cub Scouts in a few minutes, but came in to say hey. I'll do a proper ketchup later!

back from dinner and running errands. Got Jar back but he wasn't feeling well. I don't think dad gives/pushes much to drink during the day and he ends up with a headache and nauseous (crap...I can't ever spell that word...you'd think I would use a different word by now). After he drank a milk shake and ate a couple of granola bars he was just fine.

Tomorrow is my last day for old lady bowling Next week I'll be at school! blech! Actually, I don't mind going back it will give me something to do during the day!

Suzanne...sorry about the smell. That fish thread was killing me. I couldn't believe how something so trivial could be locked like that!!

Sherry...ick on the entire garage smelling that way!!

gonna go see what kind of trouble I can find tonight and then go to bed.

I'll come back tomorrow to harass and annoy!!

Good morning everyone! I just had a bad sore throat last night and whenI get those, I don't feel like doing anything

Kimmar, glad you had a good trip then! I love that pic you took there! Another friend of mine took that same shot and showed it to me... *sigh* must have been a sight to see in person

Tara, shame on you!!! If you don't want a dirty pirate, I'll gladly take my cabana boy and keep him safe and away from you

Sherry, Luis' family was much the same. I know his aunts made a huge deal out of it for their kids, but not so much for Luis. Mine were always cool. Nothing huge, but even at 29 I still get a cake every year

And Tara nice thoughts there! Though I admit part of the Shatner roast was hilarious! One of my favorites was about George Takae. Something about when he "came out" he was the only person to make the sound of <insert star trek door opening sound>

Suzanne, glad you have your bug back!! Yuck on the smell though. I do hope that goes away soon!

Sherry, our garage smelled similar for a while too... and it was spilled just on the outside of the garage.... had oil in it as well (wasn't me... but won't say who in this house did that)

Not sure what I am going to do today. I wanted to clear out a room yesterday, but I just didn't find the energy after running a lot of errands.

Sherry, good luck with running the errands. Throat is better. It was just sore due to allergies and the like.
As for the cakes, it is something Luis and I do for each other still. He never really got them much as a kid, so it is a way to keep on being a kid for us

Real life seems to be getting in the way.

I've started a project to scan in all of my dad's 35mm slides. Yikes. It took me over 30 hours to finish the first box (of six). And I still haven't finished cropping or color correcting all of them. I guess I should have waited until winter to start this project.
