Nancy, you know what they say.. Where there's a will...there's a relative.

Mrs. AA had her first ever visit to a chiropractor yesterday (we know him personally so thought we would try him) and it was much easier than the normal hoops we have to jump through for her to get treatment.

She is walking caneless today, but still not sleeping well. Nevertheless..some improvement

Alan, glad to hear that he doc went well for Rebecca. I do hope it helps her completely... at least walking is a good thing!

Um don't ya think that's a little personal???? If you don't mind I think I'll keep my clap to myself!!

I should find out tomorrow or friday about the job, but I'm not too confident because they told us in a meeting today that we have to have the proper certification to teach anything different. I don't have the ED/LD cert yet so i may have to wait until next year. If that's the case I'll tell the lady in there now that she has to stay there until next year so that I can get my certs then she can retire and I can take her job.

Either that or I need a new job real quick!!!

Morning!

Not feeling well at all. Started getting really bad pains in my stomach yesterday afternoon, then felt nauseous all night. This sucks. I think it might be the Ibuprofen that is doing it, so I haven't taken any since yesterday afternoon. My foot is KILLING me, but its better than the nauseau.

Anyway, sorry to be such a downer, I'm just feeling whiny today.

Sherry, sorry your foot is still hurting and it is making your tummy yucky too. Hope you can find something that will make your foot better and not hurt your tummy.

Elaine...I can work on the cert over the summer and I probably will. One of the classes starts in a couple of weeks and it is an online class. I don't particularly want to take the class from this university because it is the university run by Pat Robertson. I absolutely despise him and his opinions and I've always sworn I wouldn't support his university. So in the mean time I'm going to look up UVA and see if they have any classes on line or around here that I can take. I'll have it by next year. Heck if I get another 30 hours of courses I might make another $500 a year

Eeek. Busy week. Standardized testing for Cam. Adding bass lessons to the schedule, etc... means lots of road time. That'd be fine if it weren't for the flat tire on my car. Sigh. Sooo... IL's took Cam in for testing, Tom took my tire and here I am. Sigh. Again.

Evanovich. Wooo! Fun stories aren't they Lily? Light, silly and easy. I am anxiously awaiting #11 in paperback. June I think. I'm reading Younger Next Year right at the moment. Wonderful advice and explanations on how to stay fit, active and biologically "younger" for years to come. Exercise being the key. Good stuff! Oh... another one very similar to the Stephanie Plum stories... "Sex Murder and a Double Latte" by Kyra Davis. FUN!!! The sequel just came out this last week. I'll be reading it with a friend in a few weeks. We're gleefully awaiting our Kyra fix!

Awww Sherry Sorry that the Ibuprofen has been doing that to you. Have you tried a double dose of Aleve? While that one gives me headaches, it does knock out pain better for me. Just be sure to take it with a meal.

Tara, good luck with the certificates then! Luis is actually looking into fun stuff for his computer stuff. He found one place, but it costs $24K for a 24 week course I hope you can find what you are looking for at UVA

Kimmie, sorry about the car and the testing. Sounds like a good way to really mess up a schedule. Hope Cam has fun with the bass lessons!
Reminds me though, I need to go read one more book out of the pile you sent me. And get yours out to you too

Work still down. Not at all as good to come to as it used to be. Sad. At least for me, I have an out. I feel for my friends who don't really have the opportunities I do. I'm thinking I will tough it through. Just some days better than others is all. Adjustments for all.

I sent an email to my AP this morning letting her know I would not be here tomorrow so she could give me my bad news on Friday or she could email me on thursday. She emailed me back this afternoon telling me that I can find her on friday and that I will probably be very happy with the answer she gives me on Friday!!! I'm taking this to mean i'm getting my room next year!! I will be on pins and needles until then, but I let her know that I've already inquired as to what I need to do to get my ed/ld endorsement. So I can start working on it now!! Can you tell i'm a little excited here!!! woohoo!!

okay, now back to your regular dising. I'll ketchup tonight or tomorrow morning after Jar's neurology appt.

Christin used super strength Aleve for her shoulders when she was in school and that seemed to help her. Only thing that does help her.

Tara. Hope everything works out for you.
Christin is going to TRY to back to school for her teaching certificate and Masters. She missed the deadline for fall, so looking at spring IF she can get into the program. What a PITA. She has 4 tests to take over the summer and has to look for a job with kids before the application goes in. This one school is a year program, so she wants it bad! And that is $27,000!! I will be so glad when she finds something and stops using all our money

Yay for bass lessons. Dave did that when he was in school.

Where is everyone?

I spent the afternoon starting the everything off the floor in the living room thing
Got all that out expect the 2 couches and the stereo.
Got all out of the dining room except the china cabinet and the table......there was too much in that cabinet!
And both hallway closets cleared out of clothes and floor things.
My guest room is full!!

Now what for dinner?? Hmmmmm....any ideas. Just me and nothing out of the freezer
