my DH makes sure he has one for each day of our trip... the best one is on our last trip, he wore his Jessica Rabbit version to DHS and we ran into another guy wearing the same shirt... I made a big stink out of it and took pictures to prove to people back home that there are others like us. I just wish I knew how to post the pictures.

I'm not 40.. (Yet) But here in Hawaii we wear them everyday for work... I have at least 30 of them in my closet.

My DH (over 40) would wear the Mickey Hawaiin shirt in a heart beat. He would even if he wasn't 40. I'm not much over that. I think it's great!

I don't understand the bias against Spandex. In fashion, Spandex is as close as you get to "truth in advertising."

You know..... Hawaiian print. only older people where them I know have 5 or 6 of them. Getting old can be so much fun

I picked this beauty up at one of the shops in Adventureland back in the summer of 2002 (when I was not yet 32 - this year I'll be 40). I love how Mickey, Goofy, Donald and Pluto are all in there!

I've worn it every trip since, (as well as lots of other places in between), but since 2005 it's become an Epcot only shirt. I can't remember why, but every year now I only wear it there, unless we park hop of course.

Love seeing the shirts on everyone! I actually have an old one in my car which DD and I use when eating in the car (as a cover for our clothing). One day I spilled coffee on myself driving to work. I was subbing for a friend that day (intro psych class) and had to switch out of my "work" blouse into a very large, very colorful disney Hawaiian shirt (I am tall and skinny so it looked like I was wearing a sheet with arms ). It made a great hit with the students.

Hmm, not sure, I guess it has to do with DVC because we are DVC members and bringing home a Hawaiian shirt and wearing it is a way of advertising our love for Disney and our DVC membership. Also it is a way to converse with other like-minded DVC members. If this topic does not belong then I am sure it will be moved to the proper area.

I'm 28 and, prior to getting married, I used to wear them all the time! I had a collection of 10-12 that I wore all the time in high school and college.

The wife has since outlawed them! I am feeling a revolution that begins with digging out the box of shirts in the garage....hmmm....sounds like a secret Saturday mission!
