Oh, and look, Kimmy was kind enough to launder the bearskin rug for us....

Nope, no Survivor viewing in the yensid house. Watching the Stars lose to Atlanta right now.

We don't get any fruit from the tree. It drops a few little berries, tho. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing really. DW saw some birds swallowing them whole, so they sorta keep the yard clean.

Whew.......long choir rehearsal tonight and REALLY long prayer time. Pretty somber bunch of us at the church tonight. Hard to reahearse joyous Easter music with what's going on in Baghdad. But when the perfume of those flowers hit me as I came in the door, I just HAD to smile. Ya'll are the BEST!!!

Jay, LOVE your Bradford Pear!! They are quite common around here--got a beauty in the front yard where my kids currently live! Love the "snow" they leave in the spring! Can't wait to see them again here in another month or so. Oh, BTW, your castles are VERY tempting........

Thanks Beth! When they built our neighborhood, they put Bradford Pears in the yards of about every other house. Soooooooo... there are quite a few of them. Oh well... They still look really good & we've never trimmed it (except the first year or so to keep branches from sprouting too low. Otherwise it would be a big shrubbery ).

Go ahead.... the castles are calling you. The pictures I have simply do not do them justice. I have this nifty digital camera, but can't get any good close up pics of them. Hey... I think I have an old catalog of theirs somewhere. I'll have to dig it out tomorrow and scan some of the pics. Hopefully the castles I have are in there.

Michele, I'm about to send you a PM. Just thought I'd give you fair warning.

Let's see... last 20 min of Survivor. They played a lot of dramatic music. They had an immunity challenge, then a vote. One person lost the vote. They were bitter about it. The people that voted him/her off was glad to see them go b/c they didn't do their share of the work. They ended the show with a controversial teaser of next weeks show. Any more detail & I'll have to defer to someone that actually watched the program.
