JAY!! I need your groveling on my TF thread, pretty please? I know where the closest Krystal's is to the airport!

Ok, I'm off to change my location and to check on dh's progress.
LATER!!

Grocery shopping is all done and we survived it with only one call for CLEAN UP ON AISLE 2!!!! I so love taking the petite yaya's grocery shopping LOL. I also got a very good deal. The other week we bought a piece of salmon that was bad. I told the lady at the fish counter today and she gave me THREE pounds of Basa Filets free for our trouble!!! The Basa was 4.99 a pound and the salmon we bought last week was only 2.99 a pound!!! She said it is a very mild favored fish which will go over well with the kids and dh!

Doesnt look like I did too much damage with my bad eating the past few days my pants are STILL so loose I have to keep hitching them up!!! I am back on track and ready to roll!!!! That site really helped to get me revved up again about losing weight. I really want to look like my goal weight model!!!

Karen, glad you are back on track...did ya'll notice anything?;)

he left the stink stopper in and left the water running and now is upstairs yelling for a mop......

At our house we call that a plugged toliet!! :o ;)

Actually with both of them this weekend. My youngest is currently in the bedroom screaming at dh that he wants to go scootering!! It just got done raining!!! Calgon take me away!!!!

Sorry you had a bad day yesterday. Not sure whats up with my kids but they have been wild this weekend.

A REAL Massage? At a SPA?! That would be lovely, I can be packed in 15 min. :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Ok, I'll be at the door!

ROSES, I LOVE ROSES! ANY COLOR ROSES! WHAT A SURPRISE, HUH?

DisAngel=lazy yaya

Nah. Just tired yaya. It takes a lot of energy to keep up with an Elder yaya power shopping in the mall...:)

Karen, you may not want to hear this, but at this point I think that you've done what you can with this report he has to do. It's his grade, and it's up to him to complete the report. If he doesn't, he takes the logical consequences (bad grade). That's not a reflection on you, but he needs not to be bailed out. You got him the extra time, now he needs to make the best of it.

Wow! I did the virtual me too 50 lbs lighter and I liked what I saw!

I love roses too but my absolute favorite flowers are carnations, hyacynths and lilacs. Sadly because I live in Florida the only time I see hyacinths is during Easter when they sell them in the stores. Lilacs dont grow down here either.

Thanks, Pam. But I do need help for Rose Mary. So, if any of ya'll would like to assist her, please visit the thread (JAY!!).

I love Roses too. My fav!

Very funny Bonnie!!

One of the only good things about living here in Ga. is all the different flowers we didn't have in Fl. I think I noticed a hyacinth coming up in the yard. The daffodils have spring and we have this bush, forsythia that starts off with pretty yellow flowers then turns green for summer. But, I would gladly trade it all to be back in my beloved Florida, walking on the beach or visiting DTD with my sisters. :(

Bonnie I have to keep on him about this. He is ADHD and not on meds on the weekend so it's hard for him to stay on task. Apparently there were several kids that didnt do the report and they all got extra time. I didnt know this before I talked to him but my eldest did but failed to tell me. Ummm he forgot. I swear I hear those words in my sleep. He is currently finishing the book for the second time then has a time limit of one half hour to type out his report. If I didnt impose a time limit he would take all night to do it.

Back from shopping. I bought a YC candle for me, a birthday gfit for DS's GF and DD got a new top.

The sink stopper is the thingy that stops the water from going down the drain. (I am not good with technical jargon) For some reason he turned on the water in the bathroom sink and the sink stopper thingy was in the down position and he had water all over the vanity and under his sink. The floor was pretty well flooded also. So sorry to confuse the young Ya Yas.

So Pam is now my friend. I knew she had many faces......

Don't think any of the categories that Pam mentioned is really her, we need to find another category..

Don't you just love the petite Ya Yas that don't do their assignments. I swear it is just one of those life lessons that every child needs to learn. You are very lucky that his teacher gave an extension for the report.....I know the teacher that I subbed for this past year lowered a student's grade by one for every day it was late. It definitely made my job easier. I do agree with Bonnie. At some point you have to let the grade be the one that your child earned. Please don't think that I am being wicked. My DD has had a learning disability and we have been down this road before. She knows that she has to work extra hard to get work done, and only she can do it. I realize that it can be very frustrating but as Bonnie said this is your child's grade and not yours.

Karen,
I know what you're saying! I have the same situation here but, mine does take his meds on the weekend, also. He forgot to take his pill one day when I had a meeting at school that night and I asked his teacher if she noticed. QUITE a difference in him when he forgets. I think she even reminds him now, lol.

Betty, what scent YC did you get? What is the scent of the month? I haven't been to the mall in so, so long.......
