Hi all! A very tired yaya chickin' in. Those were two of the longest days I have worked in a very long time!

We had a rope hammock and hated it for all the reasons someone said. We used the cheap net camping hammock and loved it! I used to come home from working nightshift, go out back in the hammock and fall asleep in the hammock.

Did you need to SHOP for those cushions Elaine? I know someone who loves to SHOP with you!

Hi ya'll!! We are the proud owners of a new vacuum cleaner. Waaaaa-hoooo! Yeah, I know... who gives a rip. Nothing more boring than vacuum shopping. Unless of course it was the roof shingle shopping we did last summer. YAWN.

Ummm.... still no avatar. Well that just TOTALLY bites!! Elaine... is my guy lost forever? Waaaah! This is so sad.

Yep Jeannie, the food of your people. Although... after getting into a little... uh.. "discussion" with my ever so sweet son about something while on the way to town, I wasn't in the mood to fight with him about going to the BBQ place, so we ended up at Outback instead, and guess what they had... the Bloomin' Onion. LOL! I had a bite of two, very yummy, but deepfried, therefore EV-IL. NEXT time, we go to MY restaurant!!!

Nancy felt like a netted roast in her hammock? Hee hee hee!!!

No cushions for Elaine? Bummer.

Bonnie, where did you get your net hammock. I can only seem to find those online. I know that is mostly what they hae in Mexico (where a friend of mine lives) so I know they are usually good

No cushions... I did SHOP around and had no luck. I suppose I will have to look again soon.

Elaine, I actually got the hammock in the camping section of either Walmart or Kmart. Very cheap, it lasted several years and then dry rotted, but we got our money's worth.

We got the Dyson vacuum. Not sure if it's any good, but sweet hubby decided that was the one he wanted, and since he does most of the vacuuming, I wasn't about to argue with him about it. Did you look at them yesterday? It's the yellow funny looking thing. LOL!

Thanks Bonnie! I will have to look there... or maybe Galyans has one too. I've looked though and they don't seem to be near as expensive anyway so hopefully I will get lucky. I was actulaly at a K-mart that was closing today but I think all they had left were their returns and the like... like sets with broken dishes.... all that. I'll have to check out Walmart on my way home and if not there then Galyans isn't too much out of my way.

Kim, I've heard of Dyson. They are very popular in the UK and supposedly a good vacuum. Since we have a very nice one right now (a nice Hoover bagless) I can't justify even really looking at those. I hope you enjoy it though... I've seen the beauties in passing

I'd never heard of this brand before, but for the price we paid for it, I'll say that it had BETTER be a good one!! He's using it now, and it does seem to be picking up gunk that the old Phantom was leaving.

We have had the "good" hammock for about 10 years now. It is much more comfy than that other thing was

A new vacuum....did that not too long ago. I hated my Phantom. It didn't last very long.

Okay....ready? Geoff update. A short one though.
They were tired last night so didn't make it to PI. But they did go to Planet Hollywood for dinner. They enjoyed it and really liked looking around.
Today was mostly spent at the Studios. Did about everything they wanted to.
The worst weather so far. Cold, windy, rainy.
Lunch was Sci-Fi. They really enjoyed that too.
The call came from DTD where they were doing more shopping. They were going to PI tonight.

Kim got a new vacumn, Elaine worked on her swing, everybody has a hammock but me , GP has never been to Outback? ....ya gotta fix that! But stay away from the bloomin onion...incredably yummy but you would NOT BELIEVE the calories and fat in that puppy!!!

Bubble Boy was kind enough to share his little germies with me, and it hit me like a ton of bricks yesterday. I am taking today off from work, as I have to get on a plane on Saturday, and I need to shake this.
