So far still vegging here. Wow, Elaine you have been a busy bee. We have been talking about getting a hammock but a swing would probably be better (and safer for me).

Well, do need to do some laundry and take the movie back.

Ugh...not awake yet. Headed to town to do some shopping today. I think I'll sweet talk DH into taking me to a wonderful asian barbeque place in town. All fresh veggies, they cook for you on the giant grill thingy... nice and healthy.

Pam, sounds like those boys are pretty handy to have around! Could they come to my place and clean things up a bit?

My brain hasn't engaged yet, can't even think clearly enough to do a ketchup.

Actually Rose Mary I need to get a hammock as well. We have it set up to be able to hold one but I just haven't bought one yet. Not sure if I want that white rope kind or something else yet

Elaine! I didn't know you were so handy. I once had a construction job over the summer (on the Vineyard Deb!)...am not sure if those structures are still standing. Anyway, it'll be PERFECT for spring/summer...smoothies, furbabies, books..oooh can you drag the laptop out?Yayaing!... and swingin'....aaaah!

Marilyn! All my bank sends me..well they don't send me anything but statements...guess I'm not a high roller yet. I once got some bowls from my bank in Korea.

Speaking of which...ASIAN BBQ...are you talkin' 'bout the food of MY people KIM? Nick grilled me up some Korean style boneless ribs last night...a leeeeetle bit heavy on the soy but I can't turn down GRILLED MEATS.

Trust me Jeannie, I am not handy... I only pretend to be I might be able to bring one kitty out wih me but neither are really outdoor cats But yep, that laptop will probably be out there with me I wonder if the 100 ft cord would reach the hammock too when I get that one up

Okay now I feel lazy. I was going to go out and get some stuff done, but I haven't gotten around to moving much since I finished cleaning up after painting

I was sitting in Church this morning, thinking that I yell at my kids a lot - but I hope they realize how much I love them - I will sit in the pouring rain at the football field and work beside them on a hiking trail..... and I don't like football and I don't like to work!

The swing sounds lovely. My Mom has a porch swing and she loves to sit and "watch the world go by", as she describes it.

I'm feeling really guilty, like I should be doing something productive. I can't seem to get any further than this computer chair and trying to see how many games of solitaire I can win.

Did I hear grilled meats?????? Yum, DH wants to grill tonight but, I can't decide what would be the easiest, least messy, least amount of work for me

OK, I am going to try to unglue myself from this chair: 1 , 2 , 3 ,
go! I'm stuck! Guess I will just have to stay here all day, LOL!

No update yet today. They were going to go to the Studios this morning to catch the "big" rides and then heading to Disney Quest.

We are heading out soon.......so I might miss the call today

DD just left..........they are stopping at the Adidas outlet on the way back
Should be back on campus in 7-8 hours

Elaine.....we hated our rope hammock. Makes ya feel like one of those netted roasts The other kind are much more comfy.

Umm...I don't like cleaning either, but I like a clean house, so.....

This weekend made for two extra bathrooms to clean and two extra beds to change and all the laundry to go with it.

Thanks Nancy... I was actually looking at a different weave or even one that people use camping. I ought to get a friend of mine to send me from Cancun but by the time she'd ship it, it'd be extremely expensive!

Watching the world go by is exactly what I like to do on my porch swing. We do have flurries so I guess this was a good weekend to do that so at least I am not missing out on using it

Love the porch swing...except ours is a deck swing...lol...It is in the back under the deck...we have no porch..

I think I must be a member... I do notice that people with their own uploaded avatars seem to have more trouble than the ones who use the ones provided by the DIS... too bad I don't like any of those

Todd, actually mine is on our deck out back. I do think that when the house was originally built, it did have a back porch on it but then later on someone built a deck. I still call it my porch though because it is as big as the porch I had as a kid (the covered part that is).

I went out looking for cushions... I am beginning to think I will have to make them myself

Just doing a quick chick in and then we are out the door to go to dinner at Outback.

The day was absolutely beautiful. The sun was shining but it was cold. I put flowers on my mom's grave and I felt good just thinking about her.

Oh, yes we have a hammock. Ours is on a base and it is made of cloth. It is so comfortable.........

Thanks to everyone who has PMd me today. I really appreciate your thoughts.

Don't know if I will be on later or not. So if I don't stop in later everyone have a great evening.
