Im kinda tired too. My little one decided to get me up at 6:00 AM. Where is he now you ask??? Sound asleep on the couch!!! After he woke me up he crashed again on the couch LOL!

I just feel like vegging to day! Can't seem to get the motivation up to DO anything. Guess I haven't had enough coffee yet !

I have half of the second coat on my porch swing done. I want to wait two full hours before flip it to paint the front side of it. It shouldn't take too long to paint (about 30 minutes) but my knees and back are already ready to quit! I ought to check out what time Pier One opens today and see what they have as well as Garden Ridge. If I am lucky I can go while I am waiting for it to dry.

Rose Mary, I plan on vegging today too. Just going to change the sheets on the bed and wash sheets and towels. That is the extent of my plans for the day.

I've been up since 7:30, Marilyn. But I didn't do anything on the swing until about 8:30 today. So now I am just sitting and vegging until I think the paint is dry enough to flip it over

Wow! Chuck just brought in the mail from yesterday. I got the coolest pin from Bank One cause I got the Disney credit card (our credit card was with Bank One anyway, so I figured what the heck). It is pretty good sized, Black Mickey ears with a red spuare over the face that says DAY 1 2003. Pretty cool!

I would NEVER have given you my cold on purpose. If I ever do again, come and sniffle with me, we're not far from a bakery.

I am still sniffling - will be over shortly for a trip to the bakery!

Boys had a blast camping, even in the rain! The man from the Historical Society was amazed at how much they accomplished - the boys did more than he asked them to - they worked a lot farther on the trail than expected, collected trash, stacked wood, cleared the entire area of the ruins of a summer kitchen dating back to 1800, and then started to restore the hiking trail and also the Dads took chain saws and cut up fallen trees for firewood for Civil War re-enactments.

Elaine...your swing will look so wonderful! I'm sure you will get many opportunities to enjoy it. Let us know what cushions you get.
I wish we had a swing. ....hmmmm, we'll see. It would have to go somewhere besides the deck...no room there. Too many other chairs and tables.

I received my Day 1 pin on Friday! I think they are VERY nice.

Tired here too.....stayed up too late visiting with the girls and then my baby (kitty) woke me up at 6:30
Girls will be leaving about 11 and then DH and I will head off to the movie.

The porch swing is done! It doesn't look great because I didn't have a power sander and the person who built the swing did a TERRRIBLE job!!!! This will do for now until I can convince Luis to build me a new one. The new one I want to be natural wood color though (the color of this wood is awful though so I see why they painted the crappy wood they picked) and just put a weather sealant kind of coating on it. But I have a swing and I will go looking for cushions next

First I think I am just going to sit and relax for a while
