I called and no answer at my Dad's or Step Mom's Cell... I am trying not to think crazy but maybe they turned the ringers off so he could get a good night sleep... Or it might just be too early!

I will give them another 30 minutes before I start calling...

He answered....

Did not sleep well, could not get comfortable, and the drugs, just let him nap in the chair.

So my Step mom is on the phone with the Dr and getting things in order.

I just talked to him again, the Dr, cant see him until Wednesday..... he is in AR and lives in Texas, so he said he is calling his Dr in Texas and thinking of flying home to have the surgery, he will let me know in about an hour what they are going to do...

I was not sure they would let him fly?

Is there any problems with blood clots in the planes?

My mom flew from London to Boston with a broken foot (she didn't know it at the time). Apparently it swelled like a balloon and was wicked painful. I don't know how it would be for your father, but that's the only experience I know of...

Wow, ok... That sounds painful, and the flight time is a little longer for your mom... AR to TX can't be that much...BUT i just want him to be careful, I mean his Dr would tell him if he could fly I am sure.

Totally agree. And the doctor will be able to tell. Like you said, this was a much longer flight, so I'm sure he'll do fine!

And step one of less drama in my life..Started a new Facebook account today. Keeping my old active....but I don't feel obligated to add high school friends, family,ANYONE I don't want to add. Too much negative on that site, but I like keeping in touch with some people.
