I just wanted to share something I just found this morning, because I think it's a pretty great deal. There's this company called the "Tin Company" that only sells wholesale, to retailers, but if your order is over $150, they'll sell to you directly. They have a bunch of Disney items. I'm getting 20 sets of 6 Mickey lunchbox tins for $15 each. (Only $2.50 each lunchbox!) I think they're absolutely adorable, and I'll put some little snacks in each for guests as welcome gifts. They have some Princess stuff, too, and lots of other cute things, so I thought other people on this board might be interested for favors/welcome gifts. Here's a link to the Disney tins page: tinboxco.stores.yahoo.net/dipr.html

On the same subject, what do you think about attaching a lanyard with a couple "starter pins" to the handle of each lunchbox? Do you think there's a way to do this cheaply? It looks like you can get bulk lots of pins for about $2 a piece on eBay, but I don't know about the lanyards... Also, does anybody happen to know where I might be able to buy mickey ears in bulk at a discount? I was thinking about including them with the welcome gift, too, somehow...

Thanks!

Thanks for the website tip. :thumbsup2

As for the pins/lanyards, I know that disney sells starter sets. If you have an AP you can get a discount at the World of Disney on the sets. Also, do they have to be Disney Lanyards. I can't think of anywhere off the top of my head, but I imagine you could buy a basic black lanyard somewhere. I am thinking a sports store or an office supply store.

Sorry can't help on the mouse ears. Only suggestion is the same as above. Buy them at the world of disney in DTD with your annual pass.

OoOoOo.. Thanks for the website.. I am going to check them out:surfweb:

If you have a five below near you, they sell some of those tins there too for cheap. I got the little tinkerbell ones for a gift basket for my mom and her friend on my last disney trip.

If you have a Target near you, they currently have Pirates of the Caribbean lanyards for $1 in their dollar section in the front of the store. That's where I got a bunch ;) .

Thanks for the tip! I've been trying to check the Target dollar bins regularly for good disney stuff but haven't been there lately. I'll definitely give that a try. That would be perfect.

I was wondering if you could post the link to the "Tin Company"; I googled it but came up with a lot of different options. thanks :)

Sorry. This board doesn't let me type clickable links, but if you paste this link into your address field, it should work: tinboxco.stores.yahoo.net/dipr.html

Thanks for the link... I actually saw some of these tins today and a store and they are offered at a great deal on this site compared to the regular price!
