Yay for adding another night to your trip! My vacation time resets in July, too. So far it's worked out ok, but then again I've only been there a year. It does make planning a little more difficult when your travel partner is on a different vacation schedule, though.

congrats on losing 9lbs! that's awesome! I went to the doctor on my Monday and almost cried when I got on the scale! I lost so much weight last year doing WW and I've gained most of it back! I have a stationary bike that I try to use at least every other day but I feel like I always have an excuse...I need to stay motivated BECAUSE.....

Our trip isn't until 2012 but there's going to be like 13 of us and I do NOT want to be the fat girl in all of our pictures!
BTW - when we stayed at Pop we were in the Roger Rabbit building...I kept getting lost trying to find my way back and forth but I think it's just because I have NO sense of direction! I seriously walked past the foosball setup like 5 times one night! It was nice and quiet back there though!
And I LOVE your Disney Dooney! I want that bag so bad and I just can't afford it...even with 20% off! I wouldn't trade it for the world! I love it!

When I got my physical in May, I didn't even look at the doctor's scale when they weighed me, I feel like those scales always make you weigh more than what you weigh at home!

Honestly, I have no real opinion on the purse. I'm probably the only girl here on the Dis who DOESN'T want one of those bags. I just can't justify spending that kind of money on a purse, you know? The one I'm currently using, I got at Target for about $20. It's cute and purple
It's your bag, though, so if you don't like it, send it back. There's no way to guarantee the fit of the fabric, though, right?

I would normally agree with you on spending a lot of money on something like a purse, but that's really all I splurge on, ever! (I'm pretty sure we've had this conversation before!
) So while I do want it to be perfect because it was so much, you're right, there is no way I'm guaranteed a better bag if I send it back. So I'll probably end up keeping it, I do like it the way it is, it's cute!
I have to laugh. You said, no one is going to obsess about the placement except me.
Let me tell you, when I picked out my very own Disney Dooney (same print, different style bag), I went through every dang bag they had in the store, deciding which one had the best placement of characters / icons so that I would always be happy when I carried it.
Because if you're going to spend that much on a bag, you should LOVE it.
That's another Mom memory for me, I got that bag when we were on our last Disney vacation together.

If I got to pick this one out in Disney, it probably would have taken me a week to pick one out. So in a way, I'm kind of glad this one was picked for me, even if it's not perfect! I'm learning to love it anyway, the longer I have it, the more it feels like it's mine.
And anyway, unless I run into a DIS'er on the streets of CT, it's not very likely that anyone is going to notice the placement anyway.

I have the same Disney Dooney pattern!!! Is that the medium or the large bag? I have the small bag and the wristlet. I'll admit, the placement on mine sometimes bugs me (one of the holes actually goes through Mickeys head
), but there's a billion other aspects of the bag I adore, and I kept mine. You'll start to love those little weird aspects of the bag (although I do now definitely see the advantage to picking them out yourself!

The Dooney I have is the Lucy style, it's pretty small, you can only order it online. I was considering sending it back to get one of the totes, but they seem a little too big for me, I love the Lucy bag, but it's hard to get really great placement! Don't you love that pattern? I didn't like it at first, but now it's definitely my favorite out of all of the Dooney patterns they have!
But I'm starting to think like you, even though some things bother me about the placement, there are things I really love...like the Cheshire Cat in the corner, I LOVE that!
I know a lot of DIS'ers would probably send it back, but I kind of feel like this is my bag, you know?
Personally, I would send it back if I wasn't 100% happy esp with the amount of money involved. You may find another one that you like even more.
