Mr. Crissup, can you direct me to a board where I can find out if I can fit 7 people in one room at the All Stars and re-use my refillable mug from 1994? Can I park at the Contemporary and sneak on the monorail so I don't have to go to the T & TC to park? I am a DVC member and I am mad they took those coasters away!! How can I get extra towels without paying for them? From the pool? Steal them from another resort? Can I say my 14 yr old is a tall 9 yr old so I don't have to pay adult charges?

I'm sure I will think of more questions, sir and appreciate your help!

Well CC, I am not sure about what board you should visit for ALL those questions, lol. This much I CAN tell you though. You may squeeze 7 in a room, refill away to heart's content, park and sneak in, steal towels, and smuggle in the teen as a kid, but, all of these must be done while you are wearing a Speedo.. ROTFLMAO!!

While the All-Stars are not DVC resorts, I believe the DVC board is best suited to handle all occupancy questions.

Yes, this is allowed as long as you only keep it amongst the posters here on this site. We wouldn't want that secret getting out to other boards.

You didn't mention being a DVC member previously. As a DVC member, normal WDW rules do not apply to you. Feel free to do anything and request anything you like. If any, obviously misinformed, cast members try to stop you, point out that you have paid a large sum of money to Disney and are, therefore, excluded from the rules designed for the peasants.

Welcome to the DIS Cathy Canada! So glad you found us!



I can tell already from your few posts that you have a great sense of humor and will fit in great here!


While I don't want to overload you with too much info on your first day posting here. . . as a Moderator and DIS Vet, I feel obligated to pass on a couple tips that might help you as you begin your stay with us!


Since this is a Walt Disney World site. . . . I'd like to start by sharing my own personal wealth of "WDW" knowledge with you. . . .

I think it's some sort of amusement park in Alabama or Georgia or Florida-one of those hot southern states- but I'm not sure about that. . supposedly there's some board here with the details but damned if I know which one??


And secondly- and perhaps most importantly- as you get a "feel" for the DIS. . . and as you get to know the people who post here. . . and as you start to care abot them. . and as it becomes an all consuming, insideous and destructive force in your life. . always remember two very important things:

1) There is a very wonderful and diverse tapestry of people from all walks of life here on the DIS. . . and the wonderful part of participating here is having the unique opportunity to interact with, and get to know, so many different types of people, personalities, temprements, values, and points-of-views in a loving, respectful, and dare I say. . Magical?. . environment . . .

and. . 2) When you get to that point where you think everyone here is insane and awful; our weekly Saturday Night Chat provides not only unlimited free drinks, but also a nuturing envinronment to vent away and plot revenge on your enemies. . plus we'll answer any Disney questions you have . . as long as you don't over-do it. .


So to sum up. . welcome to our little corner of the Web. . . and actually, the majority of the people here are wonderful and prety cool to hang out with. .



(But for goodness sakes, don't let them know I said that! If they heard I was being sentimental and weak they'd be on me like a pack of wolverines and that'd be it . . )
