I am getting married at Disney in a few weeks & I am handing out welcome bags to all of my guests. They are ALL Disney novices so I am including things like park maps, ponchos, snacks, sun screen, & a few fun items.

I'm doing ok on the contents of the welcome bags for the adults but, I am having trouble on the bags for the little ones. I have (1)4 year old girl, (1)15 month old girl, & (1)11 month old boy - I am fine on the 4 year old girl but I am having difficulties with the bags for the 2 little ones.

I was hoping some of you maybe able to help.

Any suggestions or anything that you wish you had if you have or had a child in that age range?

I have a 14mth old son and he likes to eat! Try to find some disney snacks packs graham crackers or fruit Nemo fruit snacks. Maybe a disney wrist rattle for fun. Oh and all boys love the Disney "Cars" maybe add one of those to the bag also. Hope this helps.

How about some hair bands for the little girls, a little stuffed mickey or minnie. Do they have pierced ears? How about a little pair of mickey or minnie earrings. FOr the little boy my DS when he was that age loved the little PVC figures of all of the characters. You can get them by set at the Disney Store....They have toy story, mickey mouse clubhoes, cars, ertc.

what about:

* Disney character sippy cups
* disposable bibs
* swim diapers
* light spinners from the Disney store
* magic washclothes
* we love (and still love) those little pvc characters too!

Congratulations on your Disney wedding!

how about one of those little fans from the Disney Store. Don't forget Disney bandaids for the adults...kids like bandaids too. The kids like food so what about Disney fruit snacks or Mickey Head shaped pretzels.

We went to a Disney wedding a few years ago and it was the most beautiful wedding I had ever been to. The minister was fantastic too. Congrats and have a great time:wizard:

I agree with the PVC characters, food, and hats. Also, you might want to get them autograph books for at the parks.

how do you have bags delivered to guest rooms? i have ordered baskets from florist but REALLY want to create bags as well. any tips,advice? i was looking at the totes from llbean and they will monogram..i just wanted to have delivered to room.

For children that young, i think I would do a stuffed character instead of a bag with lots of little items. It is really hard to know what is a choking hazard for toddlers both with toys and food if you do not have young children. One larger thing would also be easier for mom to deal wtih and many mom's are very particular about what their children can have.

Have a beautiful trip.

I also like the idea of a stuffed animal or maybe a "First trip to Disney" t-shirt instead of a bag of "stuff" for a 1-year old. The child is too young to know they didn't get a bag and the toy or shirt will be used longer. I'm not saying the bag is a bad idea - but a lot of the things mentioned here I personally wouldn't have let my 1 year old use do to allergy issues and choking hazards. (I still would have thought it was a nice gesture, though :) )

My friend just went to a wedding where they handed our goodie bags and one item my friend's kids loved was a wedding coloring book.

What about a Disney coloring book and crayons? It will keep them busy and be a lot of fun. If you have them time, you could make one.

Best wishes.

I agree with the snack thing (or lack of giving snacks) for the little ones. But for the 4 year old, I just found HSM or POC or Cars raisin packs. Those were cute and worked well for my DD3 this time. Disney also does fruit snacks.

For the little ones, as a mom who has taken her DDs to WDW every three to four months since they were 2 months old, I say get the cute Disney baby stuff for the bags. I'm a bag person and I love the idea of filling it up with cute themed baby things! Disney makes sippy cups, bibs, baby spoons, pacifier clips, blankets (might be a good idea depending on when your wedding is). Huggies has travel packs of baby wipes too- a must every time we go! (Some kids have sensitive skin though to regular wipes, so you might check first). Basically, just walk down the baby row at Target or Walmart and you'll find more than enough to get!

Oh and how about a pin lanyard for the 4 year old? Walmart had princess and Tink ponchos in kids size (you mentioned doing ponchos for the adults). They also sell the same disney sunglasses that WDW sells. There are even Mickey shaped glasses in different colors that would fit the 1 year olds. One of my fave pictures of my DD is when she was 5 months old in her stroller with her Mickey ears and Mickey sunglasses!

Have fun and congrats!

Hats would be good, keep the sun off their face
Good idea to do a cuddly toy rather than smaller choking hazzards.
Maybe a t-shirt with their first trip on

Good luck with the wedding! I hope it goes well!

What a sweet idea! I just wanted to second, (or are we up to third or fourth) the idea of staying away from snacks unles it is something almost completely universal like cheerios. My first DD was always choking on those chewy fruit snacks so we stopped giving them to her, for example. And crayons always ended up in her mouth too until she was older. She did love having "characters" on her shirts though, and small plushes that she could easily carry. Bubbles are also a great way to distract small kids in line, etc. Maybe a small supply of hand sanitizer and/or baby wipes for clean ups for mom and dad? Kids that age are amused by simple things and the parents will just be pleased you thought of them.

I've read lots of psots on the wedding board about welcome bags. They deliver the bags to the hotel with the guests names on them adn ressie numbers before they check in adn they will give them to them at checkin.

I say visit the wedding board for lots of ideas

OP....the wedding thread alkso lists things they have doen for flower girls adn ring bearers so you can get ideas there too.

Disney gummies, coloring books and stuff are great. Target had a bunch of Tinkerbell stuff a couple weeks ago at the dollar spot. They ususally have boys things too. I'd check it out for ideas. Color wonder sets are great for kids those ages
