This will be my first planned trip to Disney w/ family. Myself, sis (both 30ish) & her DD11 & DS4.5. I have all our accomodations, reservations, tickets, etc. Our plan includes 2 days at MK.

I am having difficulty choosing the appropriate touring plan. Does anybody have suggestions, comments, or opinions about the "right" touring plan? I have a Two day plan for parents w/ small children, or is a combination of; One day plan for boys ages 4-8 & One day plan for "tweens" the route to go?

P.S. I would like to say thank you to all of you that participate with these forums, it is amazing how much information can be found & you have truly helped me plan what I hope is a life long memory for the children in our family.

:thanks:

we never followed an "official" plan, we just started left to right and hit every ride and if you didn't want to go you just waited for the people who did want to go. we found if we went in order and not skip around we were able to see everything with little frustration. you will spend all day if you go from one side of park to the other and then back again. just do what feels right for your family. just try to eat early and make any ressie for sit down restaurants
early. have a magical trip :wizard:

I agree with the pp --- you could make yourself crazy with a bunch of touringplans, not to mention all the zig-zagging of the park you would do. Use the plans to identify the rides everyone wants to go on together, and do those land by land. Then you may want to split up for more age appropriate attractions.

I also like the idea of starting from the left and working your way through the park. Since you have 2 days for MK, you should be able to see just about everything without stressing about touring plans. I would also do a morning in Fantasyland and Toon Town, since Fantasyland and Toon town always seems to get crowded quickly.

Have fun planning and on your trip.
