I'm messing with the DLRP website to try and come up with some ideas of a trip for summer :cool1:. (last week in August)

So I came up with the idea of 6 nights one in each hotel ;)

From 26th-31st August total for 1 night in each of the 6 hotels (ex DCR) comes to :

£1972 for 2 people.

But for £1968, £4 less you can stay the full time in the Disneyland Hotel.

Terrible value idea, but slightly tempting as I'd love to try the hotels.

Excellent idea, although can't understand why DLH is cheaper though :confused3

Imagine all the packing and unpacking:confused3 :confused3

That sounds a good deal for DLH

I have stayed in every Disney hotel (except DCR) at least once. And I love them all. But I don't want to stay only one night in any of the hotels. Because I think you need at least 2 days and 2 nights to get the right feeling out of the hotel! (If you know what I mean?)

So if you can afford it, I would stay 6 nights in the DLH. It must be great to be 6 nights in any of the Disney hotels. Because so you have enough time to check out everything. And you can feel like home in your hotel. To change the hotel every day will be a lot of stress. Every day after breakfast you have to leave the hotel. Check out and then check in again. And then you are only in the hotel at night because in August you won't get your room before 3pm. And it could be very hard to make profit of the early opening hours if you have to change the hotel every morning!

So go for the DLH and make that wish come true! :cloud9:

I suppose it could be done, if you used the left luggage facility in the park, then you wouldn't have to worry about hotel check-in times and if you don't mind living out of a suitcase then go for it. :)
I can't believe the DLH is a cheaper option though - that's incredible.:confused3

well you wouldnt have believed that would you?
Great idea though:thumbsup2
DLH is next on my list...;)

I think I've worked out why.

1 Night in a hotel = 2 day park passes.

So you would end up with 12 day park access for 6 nights.

I don't mind about the checking in & out thing, I would take my car so can use its boot to keep things secure.

Might have to rethink this one to just include some of the hotels I've not tried.

Santa Fe, Sequioia, Newport & Disneyland.

Updated prices.

Room Only from Expedia:

26- Santa Fe £100.74
27 – Cheyene £110.48
28- Sequioa £162.08
29- New Port £177.38
30- New York £201.06
31 Disneyland £357.51

£1109.25 excluding any discount I might manage with shareholder or something.

Interesting!! :scratchin Are you seriously thinking of giving this a go Chris?

Seems a bit mad but I'm thinking it through.

I've a friend who wants to go as I'm allways going on about it and they've wanted to go, usualy I'm with my family on trips and usually end up in the Explorers due to numbers, so this seems a nice way to try the other hotels.

As choosing is hard.

If I didn't have children and all the stuff that goes with them, I would consider doing something like this!! Sounds fun :thumbsup2
