Lets say that you are staying in a cabin which sleeps four and there are only three of you. A family member with a family of five wants to cruise, and wants to get a cabin which sleeps four, and put one of their children down as an occupant of your cabin, even though they will sleep in the cabin with their family. (They will pay for the extra child in your cabin.) How would you handle tipping the cabin stewards? Assuming you'll all be seated together at dinner (they'll link the reservations), tipping the servers isn't a problem. But the chances of both cabins having the same steward are nil--they're on different levels.

A friend at work is in this situation and asked my opinion, and I really didn't know what to say. Any thoughts?
