weird question - can you wear badges on flights?

OK this is a bit weird, but does anyone know if you can wear a badge on a European flight, in light of the tighter security rules? It'll be my 40th Birthday and I want to wear a badge (I know I'm sad!) to DLP but we'll only have hand luggage so I couldn't even pack it.
