I don't care what holiday it is, I LOVE to have a big ole candy jar FILLED with those color coordinated chocolates (you know, those big bags of hershey kisses, little recee's, peppermint patties, kit kats, etc)
Red/Green for Christmas
Autumn Colors for Halloween & Thanksgiving
Red/White for Valentine's Day
Pastels for Easter
You get my drift. I just love the look of it sitting there more as a decoration than anything. Don't get me wrong....I am CEO of the chocoholics club. But I absolutely love to see a big candy jar or bowl filled to the brim with the chocolates to color coordinate with each holiday. The thing that gets me though......I want it to stay like that but my kids and DH think otherwise...LOL They will stick their big ole grimy hands in it and grab handfuls at a time, over and over and over again until the candy is no more.
Why can't they just keep their hands to themselves. LOL Don't they realize how pretty it looks and to maybe take 1-2 pieces at a time?
Am I the only one that freaks out about this? I would love to go to the store and buy a few bags but I know they'd be gone in a matter of minutes. LOL
I know, it's a stupid question but I just needed to vent for a sec. Thanks!!!
