Weird Items You Want for Christmas-

mine is an item alton brown showed on his touring around the u.s. show-it was a cooker sold at truck stops that you can plug into a car outlet and will cook up a meatloaf, small roast or casserole over the course of a few hours. i think this would be awsome to plug in for a trip to the snow!

Dh and I have often been tempted to sign up - we'd be great at navigation (I'd drive and he'd navigate) and we could do MOST of the challenges....until we had to eat something gross and that would be the end of us!

My parents are buying me drywall for christmas for my remodelling project so when my sister asked what I wanted, I told her a bucket of drywall mud, tape, and a sponge. Might as well get everything I need for the project!

-slipper socks
-a new kitchen timer, cause I melted the last one against a pan, and I would prefer/like to have a cute one- shaped like a duck or something
-tea from the little tea shop down the road or a gc to go and buy some at my leisure. They sell tea and herbs and spices and essential oils- it's a great little place, but then DH points out that a bag of my tea costs about $4 and maybe people aren't looking for an idea quite so small
-a gift certificate to the scrapbook store I love so that I can go and take some classes
-a canvas tote from LL Bean. One of the big ones, so I can use it to keep all my scout stuff in (I'm DD's scout leader). Ideally, I'd love to have two totes- one to keep the scout stuff in, and one to use for stuff like library trips, etc...

I feel bad asking for the totes since they are about $30 apiece. I don't know what it is but I just have such guilt over asking for stuff for myself.
