Would be more.concerned if it was a debit/withdrawal , but still odd - pending ATM credit in amount of $26.08 posted to my account today - I don't withdraw cash from ATM - and I don't have a record of any transaction for that amount
( Thought maybe an online order was.cancelled - )

But doesn't state any retailer or service - just ATM credit

Anyone have any experience with this and/or have an idea what it MIGHT mean?
(Of course, can't get thru to customer service at Chase!)

TIA

I would just let it sit for a day or two rather than waste time on endless hold for customer service. Even if you get someone on the phone they won't have much more information and will just tell you to wait. Once/if the transaction post then you can dispute it online using the secure message center.

Another possibility is you made an ATM deposit and the check reader didn't capture the correct amount, say like on a hand written check. and once that is corrected you get the difference. I would look at the check images for your last few deposits and see if the amounts match what you recorded.

While it isn't some huge amount, don't spend the money, as the bank will eventually figure it out and take it back if it wasn't yours.

I would keep calling Chase. You need to speak to someone in CS.

Get on the phone. There's nothing better to do anyways.

Very true ! Especially since I just finished ( and set a record, btw- ) waiting outside Dollar Tree ! Took me an hour to get inside but spent $71 ! At a dollar store !!!

Was shocked - was only on hold 15 mins

If you haven't already, you need to call your credit card company. In the majority of of cases of stolen/hacked credit card numbers, the hacker often makes SMALL purchases in odd number amounts. Then they wait to see of the owner notices and reports it to get it fixed and/or gets the card shut down. If it isn't, that's when they then go on a shopping spree, causing you and your bank problems.

That was my first thought, too, but OP talked to CS and it is a credit from Kohl's from December. :confused3
