Is there one? If so, what is it? My aunt wants to ride it, but her husband is heavy and she doesn't want him to be embarrassed. Thanks.

I'm not sure of the weight limit but I've read there are seats that you can test out before you get on the ride to see if you can fit. I hope this helps. Happy Holidays!:santa:

There is no weight limit but the seats are limited in size, so some Pooh-sized riders may have some difficulty being strapped in.

Actually, no, Soarin' does not have tester seats.

Thanks guys. I doubt he would even want to "test" himself on a tester seat, anyway!

Vemnox-He is about 6'4" and over 300 lbs. I wonder if that would work?

Thanks again!

He should be fine. the seat belt is pretty long, and I have read that they do have extenders if needed. (can't confirm from personal experience though)
The seats are narrow, but there is only a little bar, so he should be fine.

from http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=868086

Went in early July with my DH who is 6'3 and about 350 and he had no problem fitting into the seat or with the seat belt. The seat is slightly tipped back at first so it may feel odd but there is plenty of room.
Have a great time

the *only* attraction i've heard of to have a problem is space mountain for its leg room.

My wife and I both rode Soarin and had no problems. The seat belts were pleny long enough to go around my 300lb 5'11" frame. The only thing I don't like about the seats is that the bottom seems short and there doesn't seem to be enough room front to back on the bottom. They are plenty wide enough. Just makes for an uneasy pitched forward feeling while on the ride, good thing for the bars on the sides.

I am 6'4" and I weigh 395 pounds. I have ridden Soarin' several times and have had no problems. The seat belts are more than long enough. The seats feel a little tight, but not bad. I would highly recommend that you pull the seat belt out before sitting just to make it easier to get belted up after seating.

Thank you dbenlee, mickaholic and dioxide. I am going to copy this thread for her so she can see it!:cool1:

I wouldn't call him heavy, He is just a big guy. He is the same size as my cousin and he had no problem on Soarin.

5'6" 360lbs....no problem for me. Just grab that seatbelt, sit down and click it. Then just enjoy the ride. Maggie

We have a friend that is around 6'2" and weights around 325 and he has had no problem riding Soaring. Disney rides are much more size friendly then Universal and the other parks.

My husband is 6 foot and 350 lbs and had no problems fitting on Soarin'. We rode quite a few times!
