Weekend trip - Should we use the DP?

We are going for a weekend anniversary trip in October. At first I didn't even consider the DP since it's such a short trip, but now I'm wondering if maybe we would save some money. (We've done the DxDP before and loved it, but we've never done the regular DP.)

We will be there for 2 nights and will spend 2 days in the parks. We are planning on eating all QS for meals with the exception of going to Artist Point one night for dinner. I looked up the menus online and did a quick estimate and it looks like we could actually save about $40 using the DP.

Would you purchase the DP for such a short stay?

I would. Especially since it seems it will save you money. I like the way you are planning your meals with the one signature meal.

For just a short stay - I don't think I would. Since it looks like the only signature dinner is at Artist Point. I can't remember if that's 2 TS credits or not? If it is, it may work to your advantage but if it were me, I'd like the "freedom" of the weekend to eat what I wanted - even if it didn't fit in the Dining Plan.

If you decide to get and as you mentioned, I wouldn't do the DxDP for a short stay - just the basic.
