My mother lives about 2 hours from Disney and is retired, so she can easily go during the weekdays. My family lives a little over an hour from Disney but we can only go on weekends or when the kids are off school, although I do often go by myself on a weekday since my work schedule is flexible.
We love to take Grandma to Disney with us, but she doesn't really need one of the more expensive passes that includes weekends. I also would love to be able to meet Mom at the parks on the occasional weekday.
My question is this: is there any reason--ethical or otherwise--why I couldn't buy my mother a FL resident 2-day ticket for a weekend, then we all go together, and at the end of the weekend I upgrade her tickets to a weekday only (I forget what that one is called) annual pass? That way we'd get one weekend in together as a family before Grandma is limited to weekdays only.
Is there any reason this wouldn't work? Would this be considered "gaming the system?"
