Weekend before Thanksgiving

We're thinking about going Nov. 20th (Sat. before Thanksgiving) through Nov. 25. Does anyone know how crowded the parks are or how difficult it will be to get a grand villa at OKW? In the past we've only been the 2nd week of March (spring break for us).

We went from Fri before Thanksgiving to the Fri after last yr and it's a great time to go because points are low until a couple days before Thanksgiving. The farther away from Thanksgiving, the slower the parks were. So the first 2 days you arrive will be the slowest park days. By Tues, the parks get very crowded. The Christams decorations are up in parks and hotels, so it's absolutely beautiful.

We go Fri-Fri, it's not bad until Wed. pm. I booked a GV at SSR this year for 11/20-11/27 right at 11 months with no problem.

This will be our 4th Thanksgiving at WDW.

Thank you for the information. I think we've decided to go with a 2 bdrm villa at BCV instead. If everyone goes, there will be 7 of us so a 2 bdrm will be big enough for us. This will be our 3rd trip to WDW, but the first time with grandparents. The kids are really excited.
