weekdays or weekends in Parks ?

I am doing a quick 3 nights/4 days trip ... I am wondering if there is a busier time in the Parks on weekdays or weekends in October ... getting ready to book flights .....
anyone ????

While school is in, it is best to do the parks on the weekdays. If you are staying onsite and like to get up early, you do Early Entry days (8am for resort guests):

Ak-Fri and Mon
MGM- Tues and Sat
Epcot-Wed
MK-Sunday and thurs

If not, use the "day after EE" strategy.
In Oct, I would go during the week.

I agree - wknds would probably be busier due to the locals visiting

I heard Epcot is busier during the week when school is in because of the local school field trips, but is slower on the weekend. The opposite is true for the other parks - busiest on the weekends.

I have got to believe that weekdays are preferrable before weekends for any park during any season as far as crowds go. However, there are special events or special shows more so on the weekends.

Epcot Food & Wine festival begins October 1 this year on a Friday; also MNSSHP is throughout the month of October (probably weekends at the beginning of the month like the F & W festival).

well... after playing with airfare dates, came up with round trip (flying into ft myers,driving to disney from there with family) I got us 3 seats non stop for 366.00 !!! Had to take that deal! SO ends up we WILL be there over HALLOWEEN weekend fri-mon .... good deal at all star movies, 2 rooms for a decent price... now to plan character breakfast (cant book till 90 days b4) and park tix ... and we'll be ready to roll !!! Hope the crowds aren't too bad

but hey Disney is a busy place .. right !
