Vicky - I'm waiting for my dog to recover so she can do short runs with me. I thought she'd just gotten too old to run with me, but we went to the vet last week and it turns out she has a thyroid problem that's been affecting her energy level. Vet says within a few weeks she should be back to her old self. She's not a great running companion since she wants to sniff everything and pee every few feet, but she's okay for short runs!
Jeff - Please be careful with that calf. I suspect you're trained enough for both Honolulu and Goofy even if you take it easy from here on out! The burrito (and the entire lunch) sounds yummy!
Shan - How many days a week are you running? Maybe your body is trying to tell you something? Are you doing any cross-training? Don't push too hard and end up hurting yourself, please!
Tracy - Good luck on the race tomorrow! 63 days sounds okay - it's when I count the Saturdays for long runs that I start panicking!
Did 16 miles this morning. My Galloway group is so great - none of the team leaders could do the full 16, so one leader took the group for 10, then another met us after 10 and ran another 6 with me so I could get the miles I needed! As we were headed back in, we ran into
Jeanne and
Wendy going out for their long walk.
Next two weekends are gonna be tough. Going to open house at ECU next weekend - DD got accepted this week - HOORAY!

so we have to go there and check everything out. Then the next weekend her band marches in the Christmas parade for her last time, so I can't miss that, which means I have to do miles on my own (or with DH) for 2 consecutive LRs. I know many of you do that all the time, but I'm spoiled by having a group to run with!
