Week of April 24-Isn't this after most of the Spring Break crowd?

Our passes are expiring May 2nd and we will not plan to renew until after our adoption goes through (due to finances at this time.) We would like to get one more trip in before then if possible.

The last week of April is our only option right now. This is 2 weeks after Easter and most schools are out much earlier, aren't they?

Anyone know of a late break? End of April?

I think you will be safe...most schools around here (midwest) are off the last week of March and then get a long weekend for Easter.

We will be there 4/28 thru 5/4...hoping for low crowd levels, too!

BTW, congrats on the adoption! I am an adopted child, as is my sister. We are big advocates!

Actually, I was adopted as an infant too so this is something I have always wanted to do.

After doing all the research here on the forums, the last week of April will be a lot more quiet than any other time near the Spring Break time. Just about every public school will be back in session. I think the New York area public schools take their break the week before and that's a big one to watch out for. There will still be some crowd fallout in general though since we are still sorta close. Look at the park hours for that week. The MK is opened really late during some parts of that week and that has me worried. Overall, I think it will be a perfect week to go. There will be moderate crowds but the weather will still be nice. May is a great month to go but the heat starts to really get nasty.

I will be arriving on the very last weekend of Spring Breakers...April 22nd - April 27. Anything into May will be quiet. Anything before that will be moderate...moderate means manageable. Bottom line, that last week of April will be a lot better than anything surrounding Easter and/or the Summer months.

It is my understanding that Grad nights are Friday & Saturday, April 28 & 29 at the Magic Kingdom. That is why the part is closing early on those 2 nights. Do you think the long hours on Thursday, April 27 are to appease any guests that will not be able to go on Fri & Sat?

Ah, Grad nights! I chaperoned many of them at Disneyland when I was a School Counselor in LA, CA. I would not have the stamina to stay at Disney all night anymore!

Thanks for letting me know. I am not too worried about the parks closing early as we have young kids who can't stay past dinner time anyway.

You would think that the week of April 24th would be after Spring Break crowds; however, with Easter falling on the 16th you will still have school systems having break that week. I don't think it will be the most crowded Spring Break week, but crowds will be on the high side.
