week between Christmas and New Years

My nephew's high school band will be marching in the Rose Bowl Parade and Disneyland this year. I so want to go see it. My favorite boy and my favorite place, what could be better. But, isn't it like super super crowded that time of year?

The most crowded time of the year for sure. If you really want to go, just be prepared to share the Resort with lots of people.

It is also a very fun time to visit the Resort, but you must pack your patience and lower your expectations.

Dec 26, 27, 28, and 31 are the busiest of the days. The whole week is over the top busy, but those days are the worst. Oh, and we have been there every year since 1998 (except 2003.)

Why specifically those days, and not 29 and 30? I ask because we will be going 12/27-1/1.

I went Dec 21 and 22nd 2014 (not even the very most crowded days) and it was still too too crazy crowded. I go every summer in July and am used to Dland crowds and know how to work around them. The holiday crowds were a whole nother beast. I will never do the holidays again.

The 26th is the introduction of the Rose Bowl teams in front of the castle. You have the teams, their parents and families, their fans, and everyone else you can think of. The 27th and 28th more of the bands (and their families) and other cheer/drill teams join. In my experience, the 26-28 are second only to the 31st. But the 29 and 30th will also be very very busy.
