I need a little help deciding on our dates for next year! Our spring break is the week before Easter which I’ve read is the second busiest time of year. We’ve been in February and September. I don’t mind crowds but I’m worried the Easter crowds will be too much for us. How are the crowds in mid-June? We’re from southeast Texas so we’re used to the heat and humidity. What would y’all do....Easter week or mid-June?

Personally I think crowds will be similar with Easter being late next year. A lot of schools do not variate on “their week” of Spring Break no matter when Easter is.

For NYC/NJ tri-state area schools, our spring break falls during Passover. It varies every year. We get Good Friday off every year, but the week long break is during the Passover holiday.

In 2016, we got lucky Easter was the last week of March, and Passover was the last week of April, very low crowds in WDW. I remember attending the Indiana Jones Stunt show and every participant was from NY or NJ!

I'd do June, that week before easter coincides with school breaks in MA and most of CT...and airfare would be cheaper than around Easter (if you're flying)

Well, I THINK most Florida school districts have spring break in March. I know ours always does. But it'll be crowded the week before Easter regardless.

If you really don't mind heat and humidity, as well as daily thunderstorms, I'd go in June. Personally, while I'm USED TO the heat and humidity, I find it another thing altogether to have to spend most of the day outside in it, and I'd rather deal with higher crowd levels but more temperate weather. But you should decide based on what your family can tolerate better--crowds or heat/humidity.

We have been visiting WDW during the second week of June every other year since 2007. We have no issues at all. We have absolutely fantastic trips and memories. Also many discounts are available during the second week of June. Early morning at parks, take breaks between 1-5 and then spend late evening hours at the parks. PERFECT!
