We are going to be at WDW for 2 days before our cruise - the 15th and 16th of December. We are planning to go to MVMCP on the night of the 15th. What other park should we go to on the 16th? How are the crowds then? It will be on a Friday. We have a ticket that we can park hop with if we need to, so in all actuality we can go to more than one. But, I am trying to figure out which other one is the best at Christmas. :earsgirl:

Since you'll be at MK on the 15th, I'd do Epcot early in the day, then take the boat to MGM to check out the Osbourne lights, then maybe back to Epcot for the Candlelight Processional? Both parks have great Christmas stuff!!!

HTH!!!! :teeth:

Around Dec 22, the crowd activity starts to pick up, and by the 24th, it's crazy.

But when you are there, they should be relatively low, and you should be able to squeeze in a LOT. You just might be able to hit the high points of Epcot -- the Candlelight Processional! -- and the Osborne Lights, which are a MUST see at Christmastime! :Pinkbounc Enjoy!

Thanks for the help! Any other suggestions for things to do at WDW at Christmas time?

Epcot has a whole lot of things for Christmas. The Candlelight Processional is first rate, with mass choir, orchestra, and guest celebrity reader. I wish we had taken more time to hear the storytellers in each of the World Showcase countries. The ones we heard were really interesting. Of course, the decorations in each country are an attraction by themselves. They also had special entertainment on a stage at the entrance to World Showcase. Definately my favorite park at this time of year.

Crowds show be minimal during the day, though I suspect a Friday night MVMCP could be kind of busy. We did MVMCP on a Tuesday night this past December and it wasn't too bad. Be sure to get in line to have your picture taken early, as those lines can get rather long. They did do a pretty good job of keeping them moving, but you still don't want to waste a lot of time on it if you don't have to. A couple of years ago, we were first in line for pictures and then could spend the rest of the evening having fun. ::MinnieMo

Be sure to check out the various resort decorations.
Some of the best are at:
GF - huge tree and gingerbread house
WL - great tree, plus the fireplace in th background - just pull up a rocker!!
Y&BC - has a nice tree w/train running around the bottom

Those are the best that I've seen!!! :teeth:
