DH - Rick (49) - Driver and chief worrier
DW - Julia (42) - Co-Pilot and wanderer (where is your mum?)
DS - Matt (15) - Chief Babe Spotter
DD - Nicole (13) - Disney "wannabee Animator"
This is our 12th visit as a family and first time to Cypress Pointe.
We have surprised the kids twice before but this time is definitely the biggest yet (Suprised will be revealed on Trip Report for Aug/19th).
Day 5 - Aug/14
Up early with our usual breakfast in villa.Off to Disney Studios.
We park at Stage 42 and we find it quite busy going through security and turnstiles. We comment to one another that its too bad that they don't have a Rainforest Cafe type super/secret entrance.
First stop is Rock'n'Roll Rollercoatser for 2 rides.DS lost his NY Baseball Cap .When he leaves the ride and lifts the restraint up, it catches the hat and it falls under the wheels.We are told it is not retreivable until after the park closes.Then we pass the big hat on our way to the Great Movie Ride.
DD insists we all do the Disney Animation with Mushu. After the show ,we go to Animation Academy and are all shown how to draw Goofy. We get quite a laugh and get to take each of our attempted efforts home. DD did the best job and was in heaven !
Lunch at the ABC Commisary.
2 Chicken Curries,1 vegetable stir fry and 1 chicken nuggets.
Later we head to Muppet 3D passed the street scenes.
It is now time to leave because the park is getting quite busy (you can tell we are not big crowd folk!) so we head back to the villa.
DH ,DD and DS go down to the pool while DW watches a movie (with peace and tranquility). DW's tranquility is short lived however,as the gang reappears to watch General Hospital (even on vacation we must know whats going on in Port Charles!).
Dinner tonight is frozen dinners from Walmart. On the way back we stop at Walgreens for Tink,Pink Pajamas for DW and DS gets a new baseball cap.
