DH - Rick (49) - Driver and chief worrier
DW - Julia (42) - Co-Pilot and wanderer (where is your mum?)

DD - Nicole (13) - Disney "wannabee Animator"
This is our 12th visit as a family and first time to Cypress Pointe.
We have surprised the kids twice before but this time is definitely the biggest yet (Suprised will be revealed on Trip Report for Aug/19th).
Day 3 - Aug/12
Everone is up at 7am and we shower and have breakfast in the Villa.
Today we are off to Magic Kingdom.
We park at Pluto 13 and the tram is ready to pick us up to take us to the TTC. Its then on to the Monorail where we then find the entry into the park very easy with no line ups (just after opening time).
DW insists we go straight through to the Pirates Of The Carribean (she has to have her Johnny fix!)which was excellent (walked on with no line ups).
Its a walk on to Thunder Mountain,Peter Pan,Dumbo ,Teacups,Pooh,Snow White and Philharmagic.
We are really surprised at how quiet it is (considering it is MK).
DS and DH go on the Indy Speedway while DW and DD go for a drink and check out the stores in Mickeys Startraders.
After the boys finish their rides we head over to The Transit Authority and Buzz Lightyear (DH wins...big time ! and does not hold back from smugly celebrating). Next is the Haunted Mansion and into Columbia Harbour House for lunch (as usual we go upstairs and its half empty).
What We Ate
2 Grilled chickens with cheese and grapes and Mickey Crackers.Apple Juice and low Fat Milk. 1 Chicken fingers and fries with orange soda. ! cole slaw and hot tea.....$20
After a nice lunch we walk towards Pirates Of The Caribbean again. The line up is very long so we decide to give it a miss. We do see Captain Jack Sparrow and his pirate friends performing outside the building and they were very good. We can't resist stopping at Aloha Isle for a Dole Whip Float.Very refreshing !
Head off down Main St towards the gate and DD insists on stopping at VMK for a Pirates Treasure Hunt Card. Easy ride back to Cypress Pointe (10 minutes near Crossroads).DW relaxes with a cup of tea and supreme Air Conditioning while the kids watch Racing Stripes. After a swim in the pool DH goes to the little resort store to pick up postcards. DW writes trip report info.
We head upstairs to get ready for dinner at Bahama Breeze. We didn't leave the villa until after 6pm so the traffic was very busy and there we discovered there was no available parking at Bahama Breeze.After a small argument and a swift,tourist like U-Turn, we headed back towards Cypress Pointe and into the close by Chillis.
We also had 2 PIna Colada,1 Coke,2 milks ,1 Orange Juice....total $57+tip.
really friendly waiter and fast service.
Back to Cypress POinte for a walk around the resort. We write potscards,watch TV,Have showers then to bed.
