With all thats going on in the world its so easy to concentrate on the sad things and that can get overwhelming to so many of us, SO I think we ought to start a daily post about GOOD NEWS!
It can be anything from " I got up today and thats as good as its going to get" to something moneumentous!

I would like to start this tradition by telling you about someone I think is doing a great job in the world!
I was watching " Life Moments" just now and they had a woman on there who had a very rough life, she had turned it around and was able to buy a house well Jason Sehorn's foundation stepped in and surprised her by furnishing her house complete with food, tuuperware, plastic wrap and toilet paper lol.

This is the website for the Players and a little snipet about what he does.

He gets MY vote today for Good News ( and good works) !!

So what is YOUR good news today?

OK, I will go first.
We all got up this morning, my family is healthy, the sun is shining, we both have a job that allows us to pay all of our bills and I have a computer for myself to DIS all I want. Those are good reasons to be happy!:)

My good news for today is that I have the privelage of spending my Wednesday nights teaching 10 of the sweetest 6-8 year old girls that you could ever meet. They truly make my day every time I'm with them. No matter what life has held for me in that day when one of them wraps their arms around me and says "I love you Miss Michelle" all those troubles just melt away. I love them so much. :)

My son turned 9 today. He had a great day! That's wonderful news to me!:D

I know it's Thursday, but we just got a letter in the mail telling us that our 13 year old daughter won first place, in the short story category, in a county-wide writing contest.
They sent tickets for the awards ceremony and dinner at a hotel. She'll receive a certificate and a trophy. She'll be thrilled.
This is neat!
