Today the Hobbs wanted to go to Typhoon Lagoon. They asked if Jamilah could go along. I couldnt pack her clothes fast enough. David and James went to the gym (in Windsors club house) so his disapproval wasnt heard. Of course as soon as he returns and realized she was gone he laid this quilt trip on me big time. Ive learned very well how to toon him out. I convinced him that we could have some quality time to ourselves. I had tickets to both Disney Quest and Islands of Adventure. Where I really wanted to go was Busch Gardens, but our friend couldnt get the tickets before we left and she just mailed them overnight today so we will head to Tampa on Friday or Sat so we thought!!! David wanted to do something inside so we made our way to Downtown Disney for Disney Quest. We looked around and went in a few shops for a look around. Again this place was virtually empty. I guess people are taking advantage of the clear skies outside at parks. Our first stop was the Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride. It was okay, but the face gear that you have to put on should be spray with some kind of disinfectant. I can smell the sweat from previous users. Not a really good smell!!! I think we participated in almost every activity in less than 3 hours. The only think we didnt do was the art class and the Disney Song booth. I did like CyberSpace Mountain , which was designing our own ride. Davids complaint was it only went like 65mph. It needed to go faster and the wind blowing would have made it more realistic. Also the Pirates of the Caribbean - Battle for Buccaneer Gold was a wonderful experience. I really felt like I was driving a boat. David and a few other strangers were shooters. That was a really neat ride. Again this is just my opinion that may or may not be worth a hill of beans, but this place was okay and not hardly worth the door cost of $32. If you are really into virtual rides/activities youll love it, but it just wasnt us but on rainy days I bet this place would be packed!!!
We were all finished around 3 pm and David was hungry. The Moores invited us to Golden Corral. David does not like Buffets the whole thought of other breathing on his food is unresting. He almost sounds like a snob as I type this, but he is very particular with his food. Like a little boy his cake cant touch is ice cream you know the type!!! But for those that do like Buffets youll love this place. Name a food, any food, they had it!!! Chicken (baked, barbequed, and fried) Ribs, ham, roast beef, every veggie imaginable, cakes, cookies, pies, and some of the best rolls Ive eaten since I was a little girl in Alabama. David left unhappy of course, but guess who was pleased Tammy!!!! As soon as we walked into the Golden Corral it began to rain very hard, so I called the Hobbs to see if they left Typhoon Lagoon. no answer!!! By the time we finished dinner the sun was out so again I called!! answer!!! Youd think people would make themselves available when they have other peoples children I would!!! We get back to the house and the Hobbs was unloading their car and my baby was all in one piece!!! David was pleased!!! Jamilah walks in the house asking to go swimming, so I take her in the back and let her swim, as I write todays trip report .
More to come One more day at MGM, magic kingdom, Hurricane Charley a fist fight over Gas, and a divorce on the table!!!!!
