Well, it's Wednesday! What to do...what to do? Hmmm... let's go to MK! So, off we go dragging our sleepy children off to MK - got there right at opening time - What? Where are the crowds????
In the space of 2 hours, we rode Buzz 3 times in row, Indyland 2x, Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo 2x (without getting off), Philharmagic, Peter Pan's Flight 3x (without getting off), Jungle Cruise, Pirate Cruise with no waits whatsoever. I have to say this is the best time to visit! Absolutely no crowds. I love being able to ride the rides over and over again, some without getting off.
For lunch we decided to go to Kona Cafe (one of our favorite). I had the Asian Noodle Bowl and picantel had the Big Kahuna Burger. If you're visiting Kona for lunch, try this soup dish. It's so good, refreshing and you don't feel too filled up. Kona is excellent as usual - definitely a must do!
We decided to go to MGM in the afternoon. Again - no lines, no waits. We did Millionaire 2x, and for the first time I actually got to the hot seat!!! OMG, I was sooo nervous up there. I blew it at the 16,000 level but hey, I was happy just to be up there. I did get the hat, 5 pins, and a lanyard for my hard work. That was so cool! Next time I'll try to do better. Now Picantel is jealous! He wants in the hot seat too! Ha..ha..
We went back to the Poly for dinner as we had Ohana PS for 7:30pm - right around Wishes. We got a nice window seat - except there was a big tree right in front of us - so we didn't get a really good view. But you know what... even without the fireworks we would have still done Ohana. That place rocks! The green beans were excellent, the shrimp yummy, the steaks tender, and the little dumplings were just heavenly. Topped off with the pineapple with caramel dipping sauce, Ohana is another must do for us. I just wish I had more room for dessert!
Well, the kids are in bed - tuckered out - and I'm ready for bed too . We're in for another busy day tomorrow! Goodnight, and have a great evening everyone. I hope everyone in Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi stay safe! Prayers to you all.
Stay tuned for the next installment of ...at the World... continuing with Thursday at the World...
